9Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! 2

For those who didn’t playPokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!or those who only beat the main story, it’s possible to unlock Trainer Red and face him in the game. Perhaps this is foreshadowing for aPokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!sequel.

7Diablo 4

Diablo 3has proven to be successful on consoles, and there is plenty of demand for a sequel. It’s worth noting that people have found exploits on console thatBlizzardnever addressed. Being able to level your character to a high level defeated the purpose of the game. ADiablo 4could rectify mistakes made on console ports, and bring the game to a whole new light. Reports are indicating that aDiablo 4could be announced at BlizzCon 2019.Now would be a perfect time to announce the highly anticipated sequel.

6Paper Mario Switch

Throughout the years, we’ve seen hitPaper Mariogames likePaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door,Paper Mario,Super Paper Mario,Paper Mario: Color Splash,andPaper Mario: Sticker Star.So far, there really hasn’t been a badPaper Mariotitle. Nintendo keeps pumping out hit after hit with thePaper Marioseries. There is so much demand for aPaper Marioon the Nintendo Switch. If it looks anywhere near as good asPaper Mario: Color Splash, it will be a hit.The combat system inPaper Mariois stupefying.

5Super Mario RPG 2

It seems as if every Nintendo character is being featured in a game. Wario, Mario’s fat rival who resembles a construction foreman, deserves this sequel and more.

Cupheadwas a massive success receiving critical acclaim and more. It won multiple awards at The Game Awards, including Best Art Direction, Best Debut Indie Game, and Best Independent Game. It’s cartoon-style that is reminiscent of the Golden Age of cartoons. It’s 2D visuals that are backed by fun gameplay.Cupheadhas a learning curve, and most people will find it to be difficult. However, it is unique and has a rich soundtrack, giving the game tremendous replay value.

There’s no telling what they might call a new sequel, but as long as it stars Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong, they should be okay.
