It seems like the days ofTotal War: Warhammerare coming to an end following the release of the final game in the trilogy. While there are still loads of DLC packs for fans to look forward to, Creative Assembly will be moving onto a brand-new setting soon. There is a strong likelihood that theTotal Warfranchise focuses on historical time periods afterTotal War: Warhammer 3, but the studio may also want to consider going after HBO’s acclaimedGame of Thronesseries.

Game of Thronesis one of the most popular fantasy franchises around today, and its popularity is only growing. Not only did the main series enthrall audiences for over a decade, but HBO is also expanding its universe through shows likeHouse of the DragonandA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. It seems like Westeros is unstoppable, and theTotal Warfranchise may be the perfect way for it to break into gaming.

Creative Assembly could even take things a step further by giving players control of the White Walkers as they attempt to destroy the seven kingdoms forever.
