Using the party popper item, razorwireshine is able to quickly deal with the swarming insects that pop out of their nests to attack. Acting almost like a shotgun, the party popper instantly scatters the nearby wasps and causes them to fly away. They repeat the process on another tree, and again the wasps instantly fly away after the party popper is used.
The use of the party popper as a weapon of sorts is reminiscent ofIsabelle inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate. Isabelle has an attack inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatewhere she pulls out the party popper and uses it on an opponent. The attack is fairly strong, and can be used as a finishing blow on most high percentage opponents.
A few people in the comments of the Reddit post said that it’s probably easier just to catch the wasps, as they’re worth a decent number ofBells when sold inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Some players even expressed surprise when catching the wasps was mentioned. After all, most people’s reactions to wasps or anything chasing them is to run away. Still, razorwireshine likely presented the party popper as an option for those who were looking for a solution other than running away.
