Some players are still learning new things, and one player has discovered something incredible about Mad Maggie.
As many know,Mad Maggie is the newApex Legendsseason 12 character, and that means a lot of players have been picking her thus far this season. She’s starting to settle down, but her scan/shotgun, drill, and speed-boosting ball of death have all come into play thus far. One thing that fans didn’t realize, though, is how unique she is in the loading screen.

Redditor HolyRamenEmperor shared their discovery online, and it deals with some of her legendary skins.Apex Legendsplayers can equip Mad Maggie with a couple of skins that feature sunglasses, and if they do and then choose Mad Maggie in the character selection screen, her sunglasses will reflect the light of the map that players are loading into.
HolyRamenEmperor posted three shots of Mad Maggie, close-up to her sunglasses, and each one corresponded with the current maps in rotation:Kings Canyon, Olympus, and Storm Point. The Kings Canyon close-up clearly reflects the rocks and canyons seen in Kings Canyon, while Olympus is a little less clear. There seems to be a Respawn Beacon and a look upon the sky, but Storm Point is also well-defined. Players can see Storm Point in the distance of Mad Maggie’s sunglasses, with wide swathes of water before it.
This minor detail about Mad Maggie’s skins may not improve her chances of being picked or give her any advantages in battle royale or arenas, but it goes to show how much time and attention Respawn puts into each of its characters. From Wattson’s Nessie to Mad Maggie’s glasses, there is a little bit of life breathed into each character, and that’s one reason thatApex Legendsis considered by many to be one of thebest battle royale gamesout there.
Apex Legendsis a game Respawn believes can last 10 years, and three strong years have already passed. If that is indeed the case, there will likely be even more characters that have these little awe-inspiring details.
