Ubisoft and Microsoft have been increasingly coordinating on the gaming front with the former offering some of its big titles likeAssassin’s Creed OriginsandAssassin’s Odysseyon Game Pass. The company recently launchedUbisoft+ on Xbox with 65 titlesthrough its Multi-Access plan while alluding to the idea that future titles may become available on more services.Assassin’s Creed Miragebecoming available on Ubisoft+ looks to be the company’s latest attempt at pushing its own subscription service’s appeal.
Of course, Ubisoft+ won’t be the only way PC gamers will be able to accessAssassin’s Creed Mirage. The upcoming title will also be available on the Epic Games Store, thoughAssassin’s Creed Miragewill skip Steam. However, whether Ubisoft aims to release the game on the platform later this year is unclear. Either way, it’s unlikely that the company will skip Steam entirely given that its last releasedAssassin’s Creedentry made it onto the platform.
Ubisoft’s heavy focus on the franchise may be unsurprising considering a disappointing 2022 for the company.
