One of the cats inAssassin’s Creed Mirageseemed to have an interesting detail on its nose. Reddit user suckashelfboi101 found a tabby cat with a fur pattern that resembled theAssassin’s Creedlogo on its nose. Another in the comments also confirmed that it was based on a real cat that had the same pattern that a fan posted on social media. Ubisoft devs seemed to be paying homage to the feline, who had already passed away.
ManyAssassin’s Creed Miragefans were delighted by the sight of the cat, who they affectionately called the “catsassin.” They also started to ask where they could find it, so they could see itsAssassin’s Creednose for themselves. Meanwhile, newer players were surprised that Basim could actually pick up and pet the cats in the game.
This isn’t the first time anAssassin’s Creedgame put the spotlight on the animals. InAssassin’s Creed 3, there’s anEaster egg where players could give any turkey an Assassin’s hoodby entering a code using their controllers.
