Ubisoft releasedAssassin’s Creed Valhallaback in 2020 and since then, the game has had regular updates that add seasonal goodies, new cosmetics, weapons, armor, and more. The recently releasedDawn of Ragnarokexpansion forAssassin’s Creed Valhallais causing some issues with players, particularly some troubles caused by the Twilight Pack pre-order bonus.

The Twilight Pack contains five armor pieces, a two-handed axe, a bird skin, and a mount skin to join the growing lineup ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallamountsoffered through DLC. It was rewarded toAssassin’s Creed Valhallafans who pre-ordered the expansion, and it has armor similar in appearance to others inAssassin’s Creed Valhallabut it with a yellow and orange hew from head to toe. Following this color scheme, the axe, bird, and mount skins are all crackling with flames and players can sport the new look whether they’re exploring the new DLC content or catching up on old stuff.

Sharing their problems with the Twilight Pack, Reddit user TheQwon_ posted an image of the armor set appearing darker than the player was expecting, inspiring a caption of “Odin? You good bro?” Their screenshot focuses on the face ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Eivorand instead of an eyepatch covering one of the protagonist’s eyes as expected from the Twilight Pack cosmetic, his face is illuminated a crimson red through parts of the skin and notably Eivor’s eye. The Viking’s cloak looks like volcanic rock like a lot of the rest of him and the blood-red piercing through his eye makes the character look like a statue made of molten lava rather than having the orange and yellow glow to it.

Since downloadingDawn of Ragnarok, someAssassin’s Creed Valhallafans are struggling to access the new content, but have found success inreturning to Ravensthorpeto kickstart the experience. Few fans have reported being unable to access areas beyond that, but others are having issues loading the game altogether after purchasing the DLC. SomeAssassin’s Creed Valhallaplayers are reporting crash problems they associate withDawn of Ragnarok, but there may be other circumstances causing their consoles to respond negatively to the DLC.

In order forAssassin’s Creed Valhallaplayers to receive theDawn of RagnarokTwilight Pack, they’re sent an email with a code for the cosmetic content. Because sometimes these codes aren’t sent immediately, several players that pre-orderedDawn of Ragnarokare left waiting for the additional Twilight Pack goodies and have voiced their displeasure on Twitter. It’s currently unclear what’s causing the troublesAssassin’s Creed Valhallaplayers are encountering withDawn of Ragnarok, but Ubisoft is likely aware of some issues and may observe the fan feedback to get a fix to players with a future update.
