Koei Tecmo has revealed thatAtelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Keyhas gone gold ahead of its scheduled release in late March. Koei Tecmo and developer Gust first announced the newest game starring the adventurous alchemist Reisalin Stout last Fall as the final chapter in thealchemy RPG franchise’s most recent trilogy. The developer has already revealed several changes coming to the newest game, including a new interconnected map with no loading times. Now, Ryza’s newest adventure is ready to begin next month.The next entry in Koei Tecmo’s long-runningAtelierseries is set to feature plenty of changes withAtelier Ryza 3improving on the foundation of its two predecessors. Alongside the previously mentioned interconnected map,Ryza 3is set to feature several quality-of-life additions throughout its open world. Each region will feature a new atelier for players to use as their base of operations, featuring customizable interiors, as well as bonfires for players to rest and cook meals. The game is set to feature several Special Editions including a variety of exclusive bonuses like posters, keychains, and a key case based on Ryza’s in the game. No information has been given yet about the announced “Digital Deluxe” and “Ultimate” editions of the game.

The launch ofAtelier Ryza 3next month comes as a conclusion to the trilogy that has been ongoing for Gust and Koei Tecmo since the first game’s release in 2019.Atelier RyzaandAtelier Ryza 2have combined for over 1.3 million copies sold worldwide, making them the best-selling games in the 25-year-long history of the franchise. The popularity of theRyzagames has also seen Gust re-visit some of its older entries withAtelier Sophiereceiving a sequel last year.
