Baldur’s Gate 3: Where is Zevlor in Act 2

Baldur’s Gate 3playersthat are attempting to complete Find Zevlor in the Shadow-Cursed Lands should continue working through Act 2 story quests until they gain access to theMind Flayer Colony. For full clarity, this occurs after battling Ketheric Throm on the Moonrise Towers Rooftops, and it is not possible to miss this location.

Upon reaching the Mind Flayer Colony, players should make their way northward to theFlesh-Wrought Doorat X:687 Y:-9. Beyond that door, fans will find theTadpoling Centre, a room that is filled with manypods. Zevlor inhabits one of those pods, and players can release him by interacting with theNeural Apparatusat X:686 Y:17.

To note, the Tiefling is not the only NPC that is trapped in one of the Tadpoling Centre’s pods, and players should be prepared to do battle with severalMind Flayersand Intellect Devourers after using the Neural Apparatus. Fortunately, Zevlor (and some other friendly characters) will join the fight, and fans should speak with the Tiefling when the job is done.

For those players that may have already progressed beyond the Mind Flayer Colony, it is seemingly impossible to return to this location and free Zevlor. Indeed, while some fans have reportedly been able to return to the map (by using Misty Step to bypass a blockage within the Moonrise Towers Prisons), theTieflingdoes not emerge from the pod when using the Neural Apparatus. This situation also seems to arise if players attempt to open the pods immediately after the boss fight in the Mind Flayer Colony, and they may need to load an old save in order to complete the Find Zevlor quest.
