Otherworld Legendsis a brawler game in the roguelike genre. 7Don’t Be Afraid To Lose
BecauseOtherworld Legendsis a roguelike game, losing is a large part of the gameplay. This is something that players will have to come to terms with rapidly as they begin playingOtherworld Legends.Losing and dying will be a frequent occurrence, so try not to get overly frustrated with it.

However, as in most roguelikes, a player will also get better the more they die. This is because on each run, the player will learn more and more about their environment,and thus be able to move around the areawithout getting caught in traps, swarmed by enemies, or whatever killed them the last time.
6Look For The Hidden Room
InOtherworld Legends, there is a hidden room in every floor. It does not appear on the map until the player finds it, and in the hidden room there are usually some great items for players to pick up.
It can be a bit difficult to find the hidden room in each floor, but with enough exploring, any player is sure to encounter it.This hidden room can sometimes throw a hintthe player’s way as to where the general area is, though it does take a good eye for someone to pick up on it.
5Explore The Place
Even if a player can not find a secret room in their current run of a particular floor, it is still a good idea to turn the place upside down just to see what other secrets they can unearth. There can be rare enemies to fight, unique items to pick up, and even more lurking just out of sight.

Since one of the main selling points ofOtherworld Legendsis the customization, it’s a great idea to see what sort of interestingand rare items a player can findalong the way. It could be just what tips the player’s build to perfection.
4Practice Is Essential
As with most roguelikes, players absolutely need to get their practice in when it comes toOtherworld Legends. This is regardless of whatever hero they pick; no matter who a player chooses, they will have to get a few hours of practice.
Each hero comes with their own little quirk or style of gameplay that a player will have to get used tobefore they can properly start playing. It will take a little while to get used to it, but once players warm up, it will be a breeze.
3Fighting The Shopkeeper Is A Double-Edged Sword
Some players may not know that they can actually fight the game’s shopkeeper to get an item that they want for free. Of course, though, they will only get what they want for free if they win.
However, if the player still chooses to fight the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper will never sell to the player during their run again. This is toprevent the player from constantly robbingthem nonstop — and it makes sense from the NPC’s perspective, as they likely wouldn’t want to sell to someone who had beat them up. Players should really think about whether they want that item enough to fight for it.
2Observe Enemies Before Attacking
Players will soon realize that the enemies inOtherworld Legendsare actually pretty predictable. They have set patterns, times when they are open to attacks, and so on and so forth. By watching closely, players will easily be able to find a pattern and be able to take little (if any) damage in the ensuing fight.

1Play Around with Heroes
There are many heroes for a player to choose from inOtherworld Legends. They will unlock more characters as they go on, but even at the start of the game, there will be quite a few heroes to pick from.
There is no shame in trying out every hero that is offered. A player may not mesh right with one hero, butplay fantastically with another.Really, all it takes is to play around a bit with each hero and get a good feel for them, to see if it fits a player’s particular style.
