While the player is deducing who could have committed the murder, it would be best for them to know that they can match up patterns to pair up clues and create a hypothesis. By doing so, they will be able to open up a reasoning tile, which will allow them to come to a conclusion.
It can be a bit difficult to figure out which clues should be paired up where, though, as two clues that are related to each other need to be paired together before they can be accepted as a hypothesis.

There will always be some hint that a player can dig deeper on or a dialogue choice that will inform the player a little more about the lore of the world.Although it’s not necessary to make new clues, it can give the player some more context about the world around them.

3Interact With Clues For Trophies
Although it is not necessary for a player to interact with the clues in order for them to be usable while they are deducing who could have done the crime, a player should try to interact with them every time they pop up. This is because a player will be able to collect a large number of trophies for interacting with every clue.
A player should ensure that they interact with each clue on the first try in the save file. Rewinding the scene to interact with the clue will not give them the trophy.

Even if a player will have all of their clues available during the Reasoning Phase, it is still a good idea to at least pay attention to what is going on. A player cannot simply guess their way into making a hypothesis; they need to at least have some background context about what happened.
