As a shotgun, it is limited in range and accuracy which is why these builds prioritize the gun’s inherent weakness. One thing that this weapon does not lack is damage as it packs a powerful punch at mid-range and close combat situations.

The R9-0 Shotgun is a double-barrelpump-action weaponthat is loaded with 14 shells. The gun uses a 12 gauge round and when fired discharges both barrels in rapid succession. Fans should be aware of pellet spread and recoil control due to the massive kickback along with randomized damage possibilities based on pellet impact. Depending on the range and use players will opt to use one of the following builds for this powerful shotgun option.
Laser - 5mW Laser
Read Grip - Rubberized Grip Tape
Underbarrrel - Ranger Foregrip
This build specializes in “two tapping” opponents in close-range scenarios. The 5mW laser closes the hip-fire radius while the Close Quarters pro pump will allow players a faster pump action in close combat scenarios. With the FORGE TAC barrel fans can expect a tighter pellet range which will increase damage on enemies. The R9-0 comes naturally with a two-shot per pump feed resulting in a kill on almost every trigger pull.
Rear Grip - Stippled Grip Tape
Underbarrel - Merc Foregrip
For mid-range play, fans need a weapon that can catch escaping enemies and deal out massive damage. The Monolithic Suppressor in this build serves a two-fold job as it both hides aplayer’s location on the mini-mapand slightly increases the weapon’s range. Players should equip the Merc Foregrip as it will aid in stabilizing the weapon while the FORGE TAC Sentry barrel closes the pellet spread enough for accurate mid-distance shooting. Fans can expect this build to excel in engaging and disengaging enemies as players adapt to the ebb and flow of battle.
Ammunition - Slug Rounds
The best way make a shotgun accurate at a long-range is to remove pellets altogether. By adding Slug Rounds, players can now fire massive single shots at their enemies, making their only other priority range and accuracy. Due to the R9-0’s natural two-shot function, players can fire two slugs back to back resulting in a higher chance ofkilling long-range targets with a shotgun. Players are advised to ADS at all times when firing this weapon due to its low hip-fire accuracy.
