7Sylvian Glade
Where Rainbows Dance and Serenity Roams
Sylvian Glade is a hidden worldin the base game that is often overlooked by players. Those who wish to find it must travel to the Crick Cabana lot in Willow Creek and find a large tree that looks a bit out of place. Players must have their Sims spam the interactions “View,” “Water,” “Compliment on Leaves,” and “Chat about Roots” to get the option to unlock “Explore.” After the Sim has entered the tree, they must “Follow the Sound,” “Travel Downstream,” “Enter the Mist,” and finally “Travel to the Glade.” Sims with a wellness skill above level seven can teleport to Sylvian Glade while meditating without ever interacting with the tree.
This serene world is filled with lush greenery, picturesque ponds with rainbows, and waterfalls complete with sound effects. Players can construct a wedding venue or secret house on a small 15 x 10 lot. Other than fishing and collecting uncommon plants and frogs, there’s not much to do there. Its beauty is not enough to save it from receiving a low rating. There are other important factors to consider.

6The Forgotten Grotto
Where Crystal Secrets Gleam and Batfish Reign Supreme
The second hidden world in the base game isThe Forgotten Grottoin Oasis Springs. The area seems to be the entrance of an abandoned minefield, which is adorned with glittering crystals and tranquil ponds that are perfect for fishing. A Sim who has reached level 10 of their handiness skill should visit the back edge of the Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs. There is an entrance to the Grotto that must be broken into. To successfully reach the hidden world, “Take the Wide Path,” “Climb Ladder,” “Step onto the Ledge,” and “Travel to the Grotto.”
Much like the Sylvian Glade, there is a small lot players can build upon if they so choose. What puts the Grotto a step above Sylvian Glade is the mysterious wooden toilet, which is the only interactive item, and the opportunity to discover the rare Batfish that is native to this world.

5Sixam
Step into Neon Realms Where Aliens Roam
Sixam, an anadrome ofMaxisthe developer ofThe Simsfranchise, could be considered the most difficult world to get to in the game. This hidden world is inhabited by aliens from the Get to Work expansion. What sets Sixam apart is its otherworldly nature, demanding a greater exercise of imagination to craft. It also offers a 20 x 20 lot to build upon. The combination of wandering alien NPCs, neon blue and green hues, and surreal flora create an unparalleled atmosphere that sets this world apart from the others.
There are twoways to get to Sixam. The easiest way to get there is to join the scientist career and craft a wormhole generator with two elements, two uncommon crystals, and two uncommon metals. A much more difficult way requires level 10 of the rocket science skill and the installation of a wormhole generator on a rocket ship, which is both expensive and time-consuming. Much like the other hidden worlds, Sixam offers aliens and geodes for players looking to complete collections as well as unique plants that can be brought back to the human world.

4Headless Quarters
The Ominous Headquarters Of The Lucrative Souls Business
The Headless Quarters, introduced inThe Sims 4: Life & Deathexpansion, is the eerie hidden world where the Grim Reaper and his recruits report for duty. Players can guide their Sims to this shadowy yet humorously decoratedoffice for an active careerin reaping souls. This lot appears to be at the top of a mountainous hill, surrounded by clouds, rocks, and dead plants. A magical blue portal stands tall, prepared to send souls to the Netherworld.
The space is packed with darkly amusing details, from an employee of the month chart to motivational posters and reaping practice dummies, making it both creepy and charming. While the Headless Quarters nails the grim theme in the coffin, its smaller size and restricted access to only Grim and his Grimterns make it one of the more exclusive hidden worlds in the game. Playerscan only edit this lotusing the “bb.enablefreebuild” cheat and the lot type cannot be edited without mods.

3Mt. Komorebi Upper Mountain
A Treasure Trove in Winter’s Hold
The world of Mt. Komorebi is inspired by Japanese mountain islands and offers some of the most picturesque snowy scenery inThe Sims 4, especially in the Upper Mountain area. Players may edit the lot at the summit without cheats, but the lot assignment may not be changed. Reaching the mountain peak is quite challenging and time-consuming, but the stunning beauty and the rewards it offers make the climb worthwhile.
Sims who have achieved a minimum of level eight in the climbing skill can host a hiking trip by planning andcompleting a Mountain Climb Excursionsocial event. Upon reaching the summit, all participants are awarded a beanie, bracelet, wall plaque, and 300 simoleons. In the ice cave, Sims can WooHoo, drink from the mountain spring, and explore for a chance to boost skiing and snowboarding skills, earn simoleons, and find minerals. The snow pile yields several prizes including Simmi capsules (common), a potion of youth (uncommon), and 10,000 simoleons (rare).

2The Magic Realm
Where Magic Reigns and Spells Take Flight
Fans of theRealm of Magicexpansion pack won’t be surprised to seeThe Magic Realmranked so highly. The hidden town full of spells, potions, and roaming spellcasters sits atop a swirling rocky vortex. It is characterized by its vibrant hues, whimsical architecture, and mystical forests that enhance the enchanting atmosphere. Those looking for this ethereal realm can do so by traveling to Glimmerbrook and visiting the magical portal. Spellcasters can travel from anywhere by interacting with the Glimmerstone from their inventory.
Unlike many other hidden worlds, this ethereal realm has no rabbit holes or chance cards and there is no minimum skill requirement to get there. It is the largest lot in a hidden world, sitting at 50 x 40, and holds the most activities and objects to interact with. Props should be given to the developing team for their imagination and dedication to this beautiful world.

1Hermit’s House / Deep Woods
Where Wilderness Whispers and Nature’s Charms Abound
Although it may not sound like it based on its title, The Hermit’s Housein the Deep Woodsis by far the best hidden world inThe Sims 4. Obscured in a corner of the Granite Falls Forest National Park from theOutdoor Retreatgame pack lies a bramble patch. Sims should follow this series of actions: “Explore,” “Step Forward,” “Keep Walking,” and “Travel Towards the Sim.” It will transport players to the breathtakingly beautiful hidden area of the forest complete with cascading waterfalls, vibrant rainbows, lush greenery, and crystal clear waters for fishing. While some worlds may be small but mighty, The Hermit’s House has a wide range with plenty of room for hiking and exploring.
Players can even meet and befriend the Hermit, who can teach Sims a special fertilizer recipe and help them find rare plants like blackberries. He lives in a pretty big house sitting on a 30 x 20 lot. If players find creative ways to coexist or replace the hermit, they can build and design their own Hermit’s House.
