But, that’s not all, a leaked video of the film’s end-credits scene is also being shared by multiple users on online, and it contains massive spoilers about the future of Henry Cavill’s Superman in the DC Extended Universe.
Rumors of Superman appearing inBlack Adamhave been swirling online ever since Dwayne Johnson referred to Cavill as the “Superman of our generation” in one of his recent interviews. Fanswere almost certain that Cavill’s Supermanwill be in the film, either as a cameo during the movie, or a part of the end-credits scene. These rumors would perhaps have been one of the biggest draws for DCEU fans to watch the film in theaters, but the leaked video has ruined the surprise.

Several posts popped up on Twitter and TikTok on that included the leaked video of theBlack Adampost-credits scene. Many of these videos have since been deleted, as reported byVariety. The scene begins with Johnson’s Black Adam talking toViola Davis' Amanda Wallerabout the forces that could stop him. At this point, Cavill’s Superman steps out from a veil of smoke and says, “It’s been a while since anyone’s made the world this nervous.” The scene is indicative of a potential fight between the two characters in the future, but more importantly, Cavill’s return as the Man of Steel in the DCEU.
Similar leaks have occurred in the past with big-name films, but this does not look good for Warner Bros. Ever since the debacle withZack Snyder’s Justice League, fans have beenasking for Snyder’s DCEU to be revived. In that universe, Cavill is Superman, but Warner Bros. rejected all claims of bringing the actor back to portray the role. WhenBlack Adam’spromotions first began, Johnson was constantly vocal about his vision for the DCEU, and it included Cavill. So, many fans have hoped that Johnson would set the universe back on track, and theBlack Adampost-credits scene has offered many fans hope once again.
Since the video leaked on social media, Warner Bros. has been working with Twitter and TikTok to ensure that it is removed. Most social media users will not be able to find the video online anymore, and if a post does contain a link to it, it now reads “this media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”
