Nintendo’s blockbuster Switch launch titleThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildrevolves around Link waking up to find the world plunged into a 100-year period of somber regression after Calamity Ganon rose to power and wrought havoc. The hero’s journey to revive the ancient weapons of his defeated comrades can takehundreds of hours if musician St. Vincentis an example to go by, but apparently Ganon himself can be felled in just 11 seconds.

A video uploaded to the r/Breath_of_the_Wild subreddit by Master_t0rch Monday showcases just that, the complete annihilation of the boss in mere seconds. The latest Zelda game is known for its freedom, letting players do anything fromspeedrunning meeting every dogto fighting Ganon as soon as its tutorial ends, so a quick kill existing isn’t surprising.

But Master_t0rch did not accomplish this feat by skipping to the final boss immediately. They use a number ofBreath of the Wild’s tools to their advantage: Calamity Ganon has half-health due to the Divine Beast quests being completed, Link has multiple attack buffs from the Amiibo-exclusive Fierce Deity armor, and his weapon of choice is the already powerful Ancient Arrows.

Master_t0rch also talks about a number of glitches that were utilized in the comments below their video, including one that gave Link infinite hearts and stamina and another that gave him an exceptionally high jump called a “Skew Bounce.” It all contributes to a kill that is incredibly satisfying to watch, right up there with amasterful Golden Lynel kill posted on Twitterlast month.

Three years afterBreath of the Wildreleased, it appears to be the gift that keeps on giving for fans of the Nintendo franchise and open-world sandbox titles alike. The game stands out for its open-ended natureconcealing some creepier momentsand for the number of ways players can break that immersion through hilarious exploits.

While nobody knows when Nintendo will reveal more about the upcomingBreath of the Wild 2, no doubt it will be a sequel with high expectations given the original’s staying power. It seems like Ganon will once again return based on the first teaser trailer, butother villains could take the spotlightnow that he has been so thoroughly destroyed by Master_t0rch.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildis available now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
