Call of Duty: Warzonehas impressed players as the first venture of theCall of Dutyfranchises into the battle royale genre. The game mode has a steady stream of updates and players have now found a new feature that will help them to beat opposing players who are hiding.
TheWarzonegame mode has been the focus of a great deal of speculation as players have wondered if major changes would appear in the game. Most notably players began to wonder about the truepurpose of the nuclear weapon inWarzone, yet among the frequent updates and fixes that appear in the game it seems that there has been a convenient way to spot enemies implemented in the game. When players are in woodland areas they may notice birds flying from a particular direction, and it seems this flight is triggered by a player walking through the area. In a video posted on theCall of Duty: Warzonesubreddit a player who was looking out into the incoming gas, noticed a flock of birds flying over a hill, and shortly an unsuspecting enemy came over the hill to be quickly dealt with. Some fans on the forum noted that there may be fewer birds than the flock that featured in the video dependent on the size of the circle in the game and if this is the case, players should keep an eye out for even one bird to give them an indication of a close enemy.
This is yetanother discovery inWarzone, and it seems that the game has plenty of elements to keep players intrigued whether they are functional or mysterious clues. It will be interesting to see what else players uncover and whether this feature will help players as they search for hidden opponents. Equally the movement of birds could be players undoing so they may want to be careful of unsettling the wildlife in the game.
There areplenty of updates that players are requesting forCall of Duty: Warzone, but it seems that elements like this are pleasing players while encouraging them to be vigilant. Many players will now look to the trees when they are in a tight spot in woodland areas.
