In a new post, Raven stated thatWarzone’s playlists aren’t chosen by using an exact science, but by using a combination of internal data and social sentiment. It further explained that the studio’s goal is “to always appeal to the widest group of players possible.” However, due toWarzone’s large player base, it’s probably not easy for Raven to select its rotational playlists without upsetting one segment of the community or another. The studio did not detail what statistics it uses or how it measures the community’s opinion on various modes. But presumably, it analyzes data related to player engagement and measures opinions on platforms like Twitter or Reddit. While this strategy certainly isn’t groundbreaking, it does re-confirm that Raven continues to take community sentiment into account instead of solely relying on hard numbers. A2022 post fromWarzone’s development teamoffered some more insight on the matter.

New Playlists Coming to Warzone Next Week (February 29 to March 7)

Raven also revealedWarzone’s playlists for next week, which runs from February 29 to March 7. Next week’s changes will make all Resurgence modes rotate between Fortune’s Keep and Vondel and will also reintroduce Lockdown, which will be playable onWarzone’s Vondel mapin the Quads format. Lockdown is a unique mode withinWarzonethat combinesCall of Duty’s Hardpoint mode with the battle royale format.

Both this week and next week, users can also playWarzone’s Battle Royale Preview mode. Similar to last time this playlist was available, users can fight over the mode’s exclusive Weapon Case feature while attempting to Covert Exfil, which is another exclusive feature. However, this time around, Battle Royale Preview also includes Zombie Power Ups, which users may have already encountered in Resurgence.
