Call of Duty: Warzonehas had a few crossovers thus far, and it seems like another is imminent.ForCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers looking to dish out some justice in Verdansk 84 and Rebirth island, they could have the perfect chance to do so very soon.
The latest teaser released by Raven Software all but confirms that Judge Dredd is on the way to the game. His debut likely comes off the success ofthe 80s Action Heroes eventthat took place a few months back. While Dredd did come to the big screen in the 90s, the character grew popular in the 80s thanks to a run of comics - with his first appearance taking place in 1977. With his instantly recognizable helmet and attire, “The Law” should stand out amongst the other Operators in the game.

Posted to the officialCall of DutyTwitter account with the hashtags ofWarzoneandBlack Ops Cold War, it seems like Dredd will be usable in both of the activeCall of Dutygames. The four images also confirm that Judge Dredd’s appearance will be based on the original, 1995 movie as opposed to the reboot. WithJohn Rambo already inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, this will be the second character in the game that is directly based on Sylvester Stallone’s likeness.
While the images do not show Judge Dredd’s helmet, as that would be a bit too obvious, there are plenty of other aspects of his outfit that are iconic. These are all shown, from the character’s green gloves to his different shoulder pads. With one pad being entirely made from gold and the other being leather-like in its design, they match up well to the movie version. If that was not enough, the badge seen in the fourth photo should serve as confirmation forCall of Duty: Warzonefans.
It will be interesting to see how the Dredd skin is received by theCall of Dutycommunity.John Rambo and John McClanewere a bit divisive, as many took issue with their designs. Regardless, fans can expect Dredd to come bundled with some items from the movie like the 80s Action Heroes did, with the lawman’s signature pistol likely to be included as a blueprint. As for voice lines, they may be taken from the movie like Rambo’s and McClane’s - though this is purely speculation.
With aGhostface skin leakingforCall of Duty: Warzone’s next Halloween event, it seems like crossovers will continue to be seen in the battle royale game. For those that love Judge Dredd, they can expect this bundle to be added sooner rather than later.
