TheFalloutfranchise is having a bit of a moment right now. WhileFallouthas always been a popular series, even long before Bethesda took over the IP rights, the last few months have brought a wealth of new fans to the post-apocalyptic franchise, and it’s all thanks to the show. Dropped all at once back in April,Amazon’s live-actionFalloutshowwas an unprecedented success for both the streaming service and the franchise itself, and following its great receptionFallouthype is at an all-time high.

But while newFalloutfans have a rather extensive back-catalog of games to play through, long-time fans have been left with no newFalloutvideo game experiences, withFallout 5still likely many years away and the rumoredFallout 3remaster/remake being nowhere in sight. In times like this, fans are forced to seek theirFalloutfix elsewhere, and thankfully,Call of DutyandFortnitehave some crossover content fans can dive into.

Back at the end of May,Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 updatelanded, andFalloutfans were treated to the beginnings of a season-long collaboration between the two juggernaut gaming brands. In the current Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass, players can unlock a total of 13Fallout-themed cosmetics:

Of course, the main draw of theFortnitexFalloutcollaboration is the three T-60 Power Armor skins, each one giving the iconic hulking suit a different paint job. Though they’re a little oversized, the Pip-Boy Back Blings are also a nice addition, reacting to the player’s various stats throughout the match such as their kill count. It’s a bit of a missed opportunity that no Vault Dweller skins are present in the crossover, but there’s always room for them to be added totheFortniteShopat a later date. All players can also use Nuka-Cola and Tri-Beam Laser Rifle items duringFortnite’s battle royale modes.

On June 20,Call of Dutydelivered its ownFalloutcrossover. Available in its very own Tracer Pack, theCall of DutyxFalloutcollaboration brings with it a total of 18 unique cosmetic items:

Much like theFortnitexFalloutcollaboration, the main draw of the currentCall of DutyxFalloutcrossoveris its uniquely-themed skins, depicting the four core members of Task Force 141 as Vault Dwellers. The two uniqueFallout-themed weapon Blueprints are also a good reason to pick up the Tracer Pack, giving both the M16 and the HRM-9 a complete visual makeover. Unfortunately, the vast majority of this Tracer Pack is filled with loading screens, many of which look like simple promo shots fromFallout 4’s pre-release marketing.

Call of Dutyalso hosted aFalloutevent between June 20 and June 26 that allowed players acrossWarzoneandModern Warfare 3to grab a few themed cosmetics by completing specific challenges.
