The final boss ofCult of the Lambhas four phases with no breaks in between. While individually, the fights are easy, they can wear the lamb down to the point of dying in the latter two fights. Of course, the fights can be skipped if the lamb chooses to kneel, but that results in a far less fun ending to the game.
The keys to beatingCult of the Lamb’sfinal boss and his two bodyguards are to choose weapons and curses wisely, to bring as many demons as possible, and to have the highest health possible. There are ways that players can build the cult and utilize certain upgrades to do this. The fight also takes a lot of patience, as dodging all attacks is important to ensure enough health in the final phase.

Preparing For Battle
Before approaching the final boss, be sure to prep for the coming battle. Unfortunately, theplayer cannot face the final boss withtarot cards, special fleece, or certain crown abilitieslike Resurrection. That makes these preparations all the more essential. Here are some recommendations to prep for the fight:
After prep, it is time to visit The One Who Waits. The lamb will get to choose a weapon and a curse, each out of three choices. It is best tochoose speedy weapons, vampiric if possible,as that will make it easier to dodge attacks. When choosing a curse, keep in mind that some phases of the fight have bosses that teleport. Souse a curse that is easy to aim.

Phase One: Baal
Reject the kneel option, and Baal will challenge the lamb to fight. He has a couple of attacks to watch out for:
Since Baal is just the first out of four phases, prioritize dodgingto take as little damage as possible. Attack once in a while with two or three hits in-between his attacks. When defeated, he will drop a heart to collect.

Phase Two: Aym
Once Baal falls to the lamb, the second bodyguard will stand up to fight. Like his brother, he has only a couple of attacks. However, unlike Baal,Aym can teleport. When he does teleport, do not chase him and immediately attack. After he teleports, he always follows up with one of the following attacks.
The best time toattack Aym is right after he finishes his fireball ring attack. He will fall to his knees and cough for a bit, making him completely vulnerable to attack. When defeated, he will drop a heart.

Phase Three: The One Who Waits
With his two disciples down, The One Who Waits will break from his chains to fight the lamb. He uses a combination of attacks seen before with his disciples. Like Aym,he can teleport. His attacks include:
Attack The One Who Waits between his offensive moves. Thebest time to attack him is when he sinks to the floor and gets stuck. Like Aym’s coughing, this makes him completely vulnerable to attacks.

Final Phase: The One Who Waits
Once the lamb is done with The One Who Waits, he will change to a far more fearsome eldritch form. This form has many eyes, and three of them will leave his face to fight the lamb. As this happens, the lamb’s cult followers will be crucified.Throughout this final phase, the followers will drop fervorthat can be collected.
The three eyes can do various things:
The three eyes share a health bar. This is a very easy fight, but since it is the last of four phases, it can be difficult with little health left. Once all eyes are defeated, attack The One Who Waits. With his eyes destroyed and unable to move in this form, he will be completely vulnerable.
Once defeated, the player can choose to either kill The One Who Waits or recruit him into the cult.If recruited into the cult, he will become aunique followerthat is immortal and has some special dialogue when giving quests.
