Over a year after the disastrous launch ofCyberpunk 2077, it may be easy to forget that this title was once expected to be an industry-changer. However, a thriving mod community has been built up around the game, and many of these mods are designed to bring back or enhance features that were cut or failed to impress. OneCyberpunk 2077modder recently shared a video showcasing exactly how incredible the game can look with over 50 mods running.
Despite its disappointing launch and the associated lawsuit,Cyberpunk 2077has recently experienced something of a resurgence in popularity. This is likely connected to the game being brought to a more playable state.

Modder Digital Dreams recorded about nine minutes of gameplay using mods, shaders, and aray-tracing reshade presetthey created themselves. They dubbed the resulting mod the “Photorealistic Reshade and Modlist,” and for good reason– it transforms a game notorious for graphical glitches to a gorgeously detailed, almost photorealistic experience. AlthoughCyberpunk 2077was always designed to be a stylish game, Digital Dreams' work takes it quite literally above and beyond in the video “[4K] Cyberpunk 2077 | RTX 3090 RTX ON DLSS 2.3 | View Distance x10 | Beyond all Limits | 50+Mods.”
According to Digital Dreams, the Photorealistic reshade featured in this video reduces the game’s blue and green tint, features 1-2 fps loss, and generally provides a massive enhancement toCyberpunk 2077’s infamously dodgy graphics. The modder declined to list the specific mods they were using in this video, but they did list their PC specs. Apparently, Digital Dreams was using an Asus Prime x470-Pro mainboard, a Ryzen 9 3900x 4,5Ghz CPU, Corsair Vengeance 32Gb RAM, and an ASUS TUF RTX 3090 GPU. They also stated that their setup used a Samsung EVO 970 M2 SSD, Crucial mx500 2TB SSD, and Seagate Barracuda 14TB HDD.
It appears that other fans are excited about what thesemods brings toCyberpunk 2077. Several users replying to the YouTuber video congratulated Digital Dreams on their accomplishment, with one user going so far as to call the mods must-haves. A second user noted that the enhanced draw distance made Night City feel much less claustrophobic. However, a number of other players noted small flaws that the mods were unable to fix, such as the lack of NPC shadows.
Cyberpunk 2077is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
