Summary
Doma is one of the most powerful demons in theDemon Slayerseries and holds the Upper Moon Two position. He is also the leader of a cultist group known as the Eternal Paradise Faith, a cult that worships him and considers him to be some kind of spiritual guide and offers advice to his followers, but in actuality, he uses this position to lure and devour humans. As the Upper Moon Two demon, Doma possesses a Blood Demon Art known as Cryokinesis, an ability which allows him to manipulate and use ice-based attacks, making him a dangerous threat to the Demon Slayer Corps.

Even though Doma appears as a friendly, outgoing character,his true nature is that he is coldand calculating. He is apathetic by nature and lacks any kind of genuie emotion. He views human life as insignificant and treats others as if they were worth nothing. Even though he is literally cold-hearted, Doma is known to be extremely manipulative, and he uses his charm and good looks to deceive his followers. He also prefers to eat women as he believes they are more nutritious and has killed many during his lifetime as a demon. It is later revealed that even as a human, Doma was known to be apathetic and did not grieve theloss of his parentsand thought of it more of an annoyance than a sadness.

As an Upper Moon Two demon, Doma was extremely powerful, even more powerful than his peer Akaza. He is also responsible for the death of Inosuke’s mother, who was a part of his cult in the past, but was later murdered by him. Dooma was also responsible for the death of Kanae Kocho, the elder sister of Shinobu Kocho. This affected Shinobu, and she vowed to avenge her sister, no matter how strong Doma was.
Doma is also recognized as the third most powerful demon in the series,below Muzan and Kokushibo. This is thanks to his blood demon art - Cryokinesis. Just like his peers, he possesses extreme regeneration abilities and also was able to biologically absorb humans through physical contact. Because of the amount of Muzan’s blood Doman had ingested, he was able to withstand Shinobu’s poison during their battle, as he was able to produce antibodies to countermeasure the poison. He also has superhuman speed and reflexes and is also able to move faster than Akaza.
Doma’s Fighting Style and Technique’s Explained
The Ice King Who Is Capable Of Powerful Attacks
His unique fighting style is known as Tessenjutsu, which is the use of atype of martial artusing a Japanese war fan. This combined with Cryokinesis is what made him so difficult to defeat. He would use Tessenjutsu with Cryokinesis techniques to create ice and frost and use them as offensive or defensive maneuvers. He is also able to create sharp ice projectiles, freezing mists and ice barriers. Because the ice he creates is made from his blood demon art, inhaling the ice causes the opponent’s lungs to die, making it a powerful and deceptive move.
By using Cryokinesis, Doma is able to launch ice shards towards his opponents as well asmassive gusts of cold windto freeze them using his war fans. Because he is able to create ice, he is able to creatively find ways to defeat his opponents. A few of his special moves include creating miniature replicas of himself to fight on behalf of him as he escapes, creating humanoid-like women figures to blow ice at his opponents and his final powerful attack, creating a huge Bodhisattva statue out of ice to blow ice orland powerful attacks. Doma’s blood demon art combined with his malicious personality makes him a dangerous demon and also makes him one of the most memorable villains in the series.
