ADiablo 4player managed to get more than 1 billion single-hit damage while using Druid. Released just last June,Diablo 4had been criticized forhow unbalanced the Druid class was. But that hasn’t stopped some players from choosing it for their playthroughs.Diablo 4is the newest installment in the highly popular action-RPG series from Blizzard. Players can choose from five playable classes, all of which have unique abilities and builds that players can experiment with. AsDiablo 4gears up for its upcoming first season, many players have already reached the endgame and have discovered some of the most effective builds. Particularly, theDruid class is a popular choice because of how strong it is.RELATED:Diablo 4 Player Reveals Idea That Would Make Gathering Dungeon Loot BetterTo further emphasize just how broken Druid can be, Twitch streamer Moxsy posted aDiablo 4clip where he dealt over 1.8 billion in single-hit damage while using a “Lightning Shred 2.0” build. He also uploaded a build guide video on YouTube to explain how he managed to ramp up his Druid’s stats, which mostly involved shredding enemies' health and making them highly vulnerable to multiple stacks of damage and critical strikes. The expected result would be a spike in theDiablo 4hero’s damage multiplier, and practically insta-killing enemies.
While it’s a little unclear whether this Druid play meant to be in the game or not, manyDiablo 4players seemed to be impressed by Moxsy’s Lightning Shred 2.0 build. Some also pointed out how broken the Druid build was, likening it to the Barbarian glitch that allowed the hero to deal 25 to 300 billion damage. As of writing, Blizzard has yet to address Druid’s 1.8 billion single-hit damage.
WithDiablo 4coming out with its first seasonon July 20, it’s likely that Blizzard might do some housekeeping on bugs and glitches in hopes of balancing out the game. This might include addressing Druid’s ridiculous damage by nerfing the items that players like Moxsy would use to achieve over a billion in single-hit damage. However, the move might upset some Druid mains who had been enjoying the ability to instantly slaughter enemies.
Meanwhile,Diablo 4players might have other things to worry about with the arrival of Season 1. This includeslogging intoDiablo 4with a character that had the most progressafter the July 18 update.
Diablo 4is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
