Diablo 4has decided not to remove the Uber Uniques that players obtained through a recent bug.Diablo 4became a milestone for the franchise and a hit with audiences and critics. But despite the positive reception,Diablo 4has also had its share of problems.

One of the hot topics in Blizzard’s action RPG community ishowDiablo 4’s itemization has frustrated players. The problem became more apparent after one of the developers revealedDiablo 4’s rarest items, which caused a stir among players. Legendary and Unique items are highly coveted because of the stats they offer to the player lucky enough to come across one of these items. But despite being highly attractive, someDiablo 4players questioned whether it’s really worth farming for items with such a low drop rate.

Diablo 4will not remove the Uber Uniques that players obtained through the bug that affected the game after update 1.0.4. The news comes from the hotfix released by Blizzard on July 7, which fixed the unintentionally high chance of Uber Uniques appearing in Helltide Chests. The hotfix revealed that 142 accounts obtained an Uber Unique between the release of update 1.0.4 and July 6, which is whenDiablo 4disabled Uber Uniques. The devs said they do not plan to remove Uber Uniques obtained with the bug, implying the reason is the small number ofDiablo 4players benefiting from it. Blizzard points out, however, that it may take action when a bug or exploit impacts players' gameplay.

In recent weeksDiablo 4players saw a sudden spike in the appearance of Unique items. Some players even foundDiablo 4items that had not yet appeared, such as the Doombringer and the Ring of Starless Skies. Some players began debating whether Blizzard had secretly increased the drop rate of Unique items and started a “gold rush” to try their luck at getting one of these items. After the adjustments, Unique items are back in the game with one catch:Diablo 4players can’t target farm Uniques anymore.

While Uniques items continue to be a hot topic,Diablo 4is gearing up to welcome Season 1. Titled “Season of the Malignant,“Diablo 4’s debut seasonpromises big news for players, like new powers and Caged Hearts. The Caged Heart isDiablo 4’s new item that can be socketed on gear like Gems, offering abilities that devs define as “more powerful than Legendary Powers.”

Diablo 4is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
