Where To Find Tilapia in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Tilapia are only found inblue pools in Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau,which players must unlock. Unlocking the Frosted Heights will cost players 10,000 Dreamlight, but players must unlock the Forest of Valor first using an extra 3,000 Dreamlight. Unlocking the Sunlit Plateau, on the other hand, costs 7,000 Dreamlight.
It is pertinent to mention that although Sunlit Plateau may seem a cheaper option, many Dreamers have reported that fish are not spawning there at the moment due to some system glitch.
How to Catch Tilapia in Disney Dreamlight Valley
to catch Tilapia, Dreamers will need to find the fishing rod first. This rod is found in the Plaza in Peaceful Meadows.Luckily, players don’t have to unlock the Peaceful Meadows using Dreamlight or star coins. However, its path is blocked by giant rocks, which players can clear usingPickaxe, a royal toolfound after completing ‘The Royal Tools’ quest. Once players clear the rocks, they’llfind the fishing rod. However, it will be broken, take it to Goofy’s home in Peaceful Meadows to fix it. Once it is fixed, players can keep it and fish as much as they’d like.
To catch Tilapia inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players should be on the lookout forblue nodes in the water sources.Blue nodes, as opposed to other colors, indicate the points where Tilapia appear. Once Tilapia bites down, press the ‘Select’ button. To further improve the chances of catching Tilapia, it is recommended that players bring along a companion.
Once players have caught Tilapia, they can sell it for 600 Star Coins or try their hands at cooking and preparing delicious pan-seared Tilapia and Vegetables,a 3-star recipe with only three ingredients.
