What is Zeni?
Zeni is the currency inDragon Ball Z: Kakarotand it is used for a variety of things. In most cases, players are going to use their Zeni to buyingredients or materials to craft items or cook meals. These meals are very useful inDragon Ball Z: Kakarotbecause they give players both short-term status effects and permanent stat upgrades. For example, a meal might give a boost to defense for 3 minutes but it will also increase the HP of the character who eats the meal by 500.

Getting Zeni inDragon Ball Z: Kakarotis straightforward once players know what to do. The main source of Zeni is selling exchange items at any of the vendors in the game’s many regions. Any NPC that can offer items for players to buy, like meals, ingredients, or more will also buy items in exchange for Zeni.

These exchange items can come from a couple of different places. Any time that players capture an animal (like a deer) or defeat a dinosaur orcatch an Energetic fishthey have a chance of obtaining one of these exchange items. The game is smart about highlighting which items are meant for selling; so don’t be too afraid about selling the wrong thing. Any exchange items will be explicitly listed as an item to sell.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotplayers that want to get the most money (Zeni) fast should spend a lot of time capturing, catching, or defeating these creatures. There are perks on the Adventure Community board that can help them find those items to sell and perks that will increase the sale value of each item. Since players can swapSoul Emblemsat any time in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, we recommend maxing out the Adventure Community Board as high as possible before going on a farming/selling run. Then, once players want to return to fighting Buu or training Gohan, they can reassign their Soul Emblems to Boards that better fit their play style.
To be clear, money is not entirely important inDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, since it only really is used for buying meals or materials. But those players who want to max out their characters or customize certain elements will likely find themselves hard press for Zeni.
