Elden Ringoffers a trove oflegendary weapons, spells, equipment, and talismans, each promising great strength and power. Naturally, one would assume the legendary items to be extremely useful and strong, but this isn’t always the case. There are legendary weapons and spells that often go unnoticed and see little use within the community, such as the Devourer’s Scepter and the Eclipse Shotel. The same can be said for a particular legendary talisman called the Moon of Nokstella.
The Moon of Nokstella is one of the eight legendary talismans inElden Ring. Out of all legendary talismans, the Moon of Nokstella is arguably the most useless talisman, and it’s so unpopular that not many players know of its existence. This talisman grants two extra memory slots for learning sorceries and incantations, which only come in handy in the early game when you may not have found enough memory stones. However, this is hardly the case, as there are many memory stones in the early game area.

Usually, players don’t need to waste a talisman slot with the Moon of Nokstella unless they are planning to use multiple heavy spells such asComet Azur, Flame of the Fell God, Ranni’s Dark Moon, and so on. In that case, this guide is here to help you find the Moon of Nokstella talisman inElden Ring.
Moon of Nokstella Location
The Moon of Nokstella is locatedunder the giant throne found inside the highest building of Nokstella, Eternal City. This talisman is kept locked inside a treasure chest protected by a Nox Swordstress and two Silver Tears, who turn into humans. One of them uses a shield and a spear, while the other wields a Zweihander.
To get the Moon of Nokstella talisman, players will first have to gain access to Nokstella, which involves progressing inRanni the Witch’s questline. On the way, players will face a Nox Swordstress, swarms of shielded and lightning-infused Silver Tears, and two Silver Spheres. One Silver Sphere appears on a staircase near the bridge leading near the first bridge, while the second is found hanging from the top of the ceiling inside the second topmost building. Defeating each one of them will reward you with aLarval Tear.
After defeating the Silver Sphere hanging off the ceiling, take the exit on the west side of the building to find a bridge leading to the room with the giant empty throne.
