One of the most recentPokemon Trading Card Gamesets to be released is the Pokemon Trick or Trade BOOster Pack. All thirty cards are reprints, though they do bear a special stamp that sets them apart.Pokemon card collectorshoping to get the entire set will find that it is not too difficult of a mission. There are only three cards per pack, making the cards a nice gift to hand out on Halloween.
The cards won’t catch the attention of fans who aren’t interested inPokemon TCG, but they can still look forward toPokemon Scarlet and Violetwhich is scheduled to be released in November. The game will take players to the Paldea region where there are new critters to catch and learn about. Nintendo hasn’t announced almost any monsters confirmed for the new game, but there’s a good chance that the cards in this pack could make their way into Paldea later this fall.

All the Cards in the Pokemon Trick or Trade BOOster Packs
The Pokemon Company is quite fond of releasing booster packs to commemorate certain events in thePokemonworld or to acknowledge real-world holidays. This year, gamers have receivedTrick or Trade BOOster Packsthemed around Halloween, which means there are plenty of Dark-Type and Ghost-Type cards to collect. There aren’t too many high-value cards to be found, though fans of Gengar and similar Pokemon will likely be quite satisfied with the collection. There are also severalPokemon cards that are holographic: Gengar, Mewtwo, Mismagius, Dusknoir, Darkrai, Chandelure, Trevenant, Gourgeist, Mimikyu, and Hatterene. There are only three cards in each pack, but they are sold in bundles of 40, netting fans 120 cards per bag of booster packs. The packs mostly exist to be handed out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween night, and there is nothing too special about them to attract scalpers. However, they do have a Pikachu pumpkin stamp, which may pique the interest of collectors.
Trick or Trade Cards Are Easy To Collect
Though there are thirty cards to collect, having 120 cards per bag makes it rather easy to catch ‘em all. According toPokemon TCGfan site PokeBeach, most collectors should be able to complete the set within one bag, with Darkrai and Chandelure being the rarest. YouTuber PTCGradio recently discovered firsthand how easy it is to complete the set when he opened a bag on camera and managed to complete the set with plenty of unopened packs to spare. The set is a worthwhile one to have, as all thePokemon except for Pikachufollow the Halloween theme. Luckily, fans won’t have to open too many packs before they have found all the cards they need.
The Pokemon Company has revealed thatScarletandVioletwill be receiving their first card set in 2023, and this will bring plenty of newPokemon TCGcards for fans to collect and compete with. The reveal trailer showed past Pokemon such as Mimikyu and Lucario receiving new cards, but there will also be many Generation 9 creatures making their debut on the card game scene, including the new games’ two legendaries, Miraidon and Koraidon. Reception to some creatures in the upcoming game has been mixed, with gamers complaining that Armarogue and Ceruledge are too human-like, andWiglett not being a good variantof a beloved Pokemon. However, some gorgeous cards could rehabilitate their image.
