First on the list is the peppy wolf villager who was first added toNew Horizonsbefore appearing inPocket Camp.Due to her peppy personality, Audie is often in a good mood and is easy to befriend than those villagers belonging in the cranky or snooty personality types. Although Audie is a wolf villager, her fur sports an orange hue, which is similar to that of a fox, and her catchphrase is “foxtrot.” Interestingly enough, many believe that Audie was named after Audrey Buchanan, who became popular in the community as theAnimal Crossinggrandma who haslogged in over 4,000 hours inNew Leafwith her character who is also named Audie.
Cyd
Next on the list isthe cranky elephant villager Cyd, who, just like Audie, was first introduced inNew Horizonsbefore eventually appearing inPocket Camp.Cyd’s character design sports a red skin tone, with an interesting purple-colored mohawk that symbolizes his rebel attitude. Moreover, due to his cranky personality, Cyd is difficult to befriend at first and he tends to get angry when the player disagrees with what he has to say. Cyd will get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, but he won’t mix well with peppy villagers, given that he sees their attitude as overstimulated and immature.
Dom
Next on the list isthe adorable jock villager Dom, who sports one of the most unique looks inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Apart from his pink skin tone, Dom also wears a rainbow shirt, though he uses it as a scarf like many sheep in games prior toNew Horizons.Similar to other jock villagers, Dom’s interest revolves around fitness and physical activity, which he will always bring up during conversations. Though he is friendly and nice towards the player and most villagers, Dom will find it hard to befriend lazy characters, due to the conflict in their lifestyle.

Her character design sports a pastel-colored fur, making her one of the most colorful and unique-looking villagers inNew Horizons. Apart from her stand out design, Judy is also one of the most popular villagers in the game, given that many players are making great efforts to find her and have her live in their village. Due to her snooty personality, Judy will often feel superior towards the player and other villagers and will sometimes sound rude during conversations, but despite this, Judy remains a fan-favorite amongAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers.

Raymond
Next is the smug cat villager Raymond, who is not only the most popular character in this list but is currentlythe most popular villager in the entireAnimal Crossingfranchise. Despite being a newcomer toAnimal Crossing,Raymond has captivated the affection of manyAnimal Crossingplayers, due to the fact that he is a cat, and given that he is also one of the most difficult ones to get. His character design sports a gray fur and his initial outfit inNew Horizonsis a business suit. Moreover, Raymond’s smug personality means that he acts in a gentleman-like manner, though he can appear a bit superior, especially when talking about outfits and the design of the player’s island.
Reneigh
Another newcomer toAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsisthe sisterly horse villager Reneigh, whose name is a play on the sound “neigh”, which is often associated as the sound a horse makes. Due to her sisterly personality, Reneigh will often motivate players when befriended and will give them fighting tips and advice on how to relax. She is also tough and is obsessed about her appearance. Although Reneigh will mix well with most villagers, she may come in conflict with those under the snooty and cranky personality types.
Sherb
Last on the list isthe lazy goat villager Sherb, who is also a popular villager amongAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsfans. His name comes from sherbet, which is a type of frozen dessert that is usually made with fruit juice added to milk or cream. His character design sports a light blue skin tone, with a tuft of slightly darker blue hair. Similar to other lazy villagers, Sherb detests any form of physical exercises, and will often talk about food and ways to relax during conversations. Although lazy villagers are generally nice, they may come in conflict with jock characters, given the differences in their lifestyles.
