Many of the classic mini-games inFall Guysare about racing other competitors to the finish. However, a lot of the more recently introduced ones focus more on the idea of simply outlasting other competitors and surviving long enough to make it into the next round. These are called “survival rounds.”
Ideas like jumping over a rapidly accelerating obstacle or staying above a certain level of slime have made for some of the most heart-racing rounds ofFall Guys. Since there are so many maps now, it can be difficult to pin down a favorite survival round choice, but these ones usually make players' favorites lists.

8Blast Ball
While Blast Ball is one of the more recently introduced survival rounds, it is also easily one of the most frustrating. Pieces of the floor fall out from under players while with ticking time bombs are thrown toward them by other players. This makes for a difficult combination of thingsto pay attention to.
While there are many strategies to surviving in Blast Ball, it is often considered easiest just to keep moving and watch the floor. Only bad luck will catch out players stuck in the blast radius of an exploding bomb if they utilize this strategy continuously.

7Block Party
This wasn’t a completely original idea for a round, but it was quite a smart take on already existing ideas inFall Guys. Block Party features a thin track with players running constantly to try and stay above the level of a slime pool.

However, there are obstacles coming at the players, and they have to dashto one part of the track in order to avoid being knocked off. Block Party is hugely disorienting the first few times it is played, but players can get used to it and find a lot of fun in this one as long as they’re quick on their toes.
6The Swiveller
One of the strangest, and often the shortest, games on the roster, The Swiveller puts players on a rotating ring with a bar that can hit them as they move quickly around. But if players slow down too much, they’ll be caught by a deadly fan that will blow them off into the slime below.
Fortunately, players won’t usually have to survive longto get through this one. The Swiveller catches players off guard very quickly and will probably take enough down within the first fifteen to twenty seconds.

5Roll Out
A common and long-running mini-game that has been around since the beta version ofFall Guys, Roll Out has three rotating rings and a rising pool of slime that players have to carefully avoid by running between the rings.
It isn’t an easy one, and for players who get easily disoriented, there will be a steep learning curve. However, Roll Out does come up quite often and will need to be mastered. Avoiding gaps and trying not to get trapped behind walls makes this one of the most polarizing maps inFall Guys.

4Hex-A-Ring
A take on Hex-A-Gone, this moving version is a monstrous beast of a challenge that can be extremely difficult to get to grips with. Hex-A-Ring provides layers of hexagons that will disappear after being trodden on by players, but the whole ring isconstantly moving above a poolof slime similar to Roll Out.
This means players have to master their pacing while not getting caught out by the quickly vanishing floor space beneath them. This is definitely another polarizing game amongFall Guysplayers, but if mastered it can be one that makes gameplay look incredibly impressive.

3Big Shots
One of the beautifully neon-themed attractions inFall Guys, Big Shots features a board that moves back and forth like a see-saw depending on where the majority of players are standing. A variety of objects will be thrown at the board and players have to watch for the incomingobjects while avoiding thesee-saw getting too riotous.

Big Shots is one of the strange rounds in that players can survive without moving an inch, but only if they’re lucky and watch everything carefully. It is a different sort of challenge that mixes up the normal formula forFall Guysplayers, and it was a very fun addition to the game.
2Snowball Survival
One of the most hilariously fun and incredibly strange survival maps in the game is Snowball Survival. This one mixes the evaporating floors of Hex-A-Gone with the danger of incoming objects. Giant snowballs swing back and forth in the bowl-shaped stadium, trying to wipe out players.
Snowball Survival is very fun if players can getused to carefully watchingthe snowballs, as control is only lost when hit by one. Other than that, the floor doesn’t fall out as often as in other game modes, so players can keep control fairly well if they stay vigilant and don’t panic.

1Hex-A-Gone
As mentioned already for the impact it has hadon other game modes, Hex-A-Gone is a final round introduced in the beta version ofFall Guys.It has been a staple and one of the most virally famous rounds since then.
The simple idea is not to fall through all the floors of the platforms that players are given to stand on above the pool of slime. The last player standing will be declared the winner. The number of strategies developed is probably more than any otherFall Guysmini-game, making this the most intriguing and fun survival round of them all.
