To be precise, the officialFalloutaccount on Twitter announced thatFallout 76players would be able to claim the Vault 33 jumpsuit for free in the Atomic Shop until December 12. Vault 33 is located in Santa Monica, and is a major location in the upcoming television series. Though it will take place across the wastelands of California, the protagonist of the show, Lucy (played by Ella Purnell), is a vault dweller hailing from Vault 33. Lucy will be joined by Maximus (Aaron Moten), a squire from the Brotherhood of Steel, and The Ghoul, a bounty hunter played by Walton Goggins, as the main cast ofFallout.
While the show will launch on Amazon Prime Video on June 14, 2025, players will at least be able to roam the wilderness of Appalachia in Vault 33 uniforms far earlier than that. On top of the free promotional jumpsuit from Amazon’sFalloutshow, Season 15 also kicks off inFallout 76on December 5, complete with a new array of cosmetic rewards that players can earn. Titled “The Big Score,” thenewFallout 76seasonis themed around a casino heist, but will also feature a Roman-themed power armor for players who reach the final rank.
Though it remains to be seen howFalloutwill be received by fans when it debuts in April, the impressions have been overwhelmingly positive thus far.Fallout 76having a strong playerbase, even five years after launch, bodes well for the franchise long-term. Given thatThe Elder Scrolls 6is the next game in Bethesda’s development pipeline, it may be along while until players experienceFallout 5. A successfulFallout 76andFalloutshow would, at the very least, make the wait significantly less painful for fans.
