Final Fantasy 14is celebrating the end of 2022 with its Heavensturn seasonal event, and the latest iteration has some exciting rewards for players to obtain. With theStarlight Celebration inFinal Fantasy 14winding down, players should make sure to complete the brief Christmas-themed questline and acquire their own Reindeer mount before the event disappears for good. With a new content update on the horizon forEndwalker, another event that fans should make the most out of is the Moogle Treasure Trove hunt, as it will only last until the release of Patch 6.3.
Final Fantasy 14is expected to drop a trailer for “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” in its second Letter from the Producer livestream, and the current release date for Patch 6.3 ofEndwalkeris expected to be January 3. Heavensturn will be the seasonal event that bridges Patch 6.2 with Patch 6.3, and to the joy of many veteranFinal Fantasy 14players, this year’s Heavensturn won’t feature the infamous helmets as the event rewards.

The Heavensturn Celebration for 2023 will start on Saturday, July 30, 2025, at 7:00 AM PST and will last until Monday, June 26, 2025, at 6:59 AM PST. To commence the event, players will need to go to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks and speak with the Usagi Bugyo located south of the Aftcastle aetheryte. After completing its storyline, fans can expect to have a new set of armor that would be perfect for any Eastern-themed glamour andSamurai players ofFinal Fantasy 14in particular will want to obtain this dyeable ensemble.
In addition to the armor set,Final Fantasy 14players can also procure a new type of furnishing for their house. Though the housing system inFinal Fantasy 14is struggling to accommodate the population boom it experienced in Endwalker, Patch 6.3 will be significantly increasing the housing capacity across all residential districts when it launches. Withautomatic house demolition returning toFinal Fantasy 14, players can also expect to see quite a few empty plots near the end of February, and should they obtain a house of their own, the Heavensturn crane-themed banner will be a stylish piece to hang on their wall.
TheVoid-centered patches ofEndwalkerhave carried the same quality thatFinal Fantasy 14players have come to expect from Square Enix, and though the story once established inA Realm Rebornhas ended, this new chapter is proving to be just as exciting. As Heavensturn ushers in the year of 2023 for Etheirys, its players can hope to experience the next chapter of their adventures in the Thirteenth Reflection soon after.
