Gifts serve an extremely similar purpose inFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopesas they did inFire Emblem: Three Houses. Fortunately, they’re easier to get ahold of in this musou-style spinoff, meaning it’s unlikely players will not have any Gifts in the Storehouse. Players can buy Gifts, or may receive them as rewards for helping out around the base camp.
Every character has a bio that lists their likes and dislikes. Giving a gift that aligns with someone’s preference will give an additional Support Point and boost their Motivation by one level. Since Motivation has an impact on the damage units inflict in battle inFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it’s recommended for players to keep their favorite units motivated by one level. Thus, players should make sure they’re well-stocked on certain Gifts.

Buying and Finding Gifts
The easiest way to get Gifts is bypurchasing them at the Item Shopkeeper. The more players upgrade the Item Shopkeeper Facility at camp, the more Gifts will become available. Particularly, this is the Merchant Network, which will expand the number of Gifts that are stocked. Rarer Gifts like the Board Game and Coffee Beans won’t be available untilthe facility has reached Merchant Network 3. Since higher upgrades require higher-quality Materials, players will have to make some progress in the main story if they want to upgrade the Item Shopkeeper. To decrease the price of Gifts, players will need to upgrade the Luxuries Distribution part of the Facility. Each Gift can be bought five times and will be restocked by the start of a new chapter.
However, buying Gifts isn’t the only way to obtain them. Playersmay receive a random Gift or two as a reward for doing Chores, depending on the success rate. A PERFECT result will usually give two gifts, while a NICE rank will only raise Support points. Unfortunately, since the Gifts are generated randomly, it’s not guaranteed that players will get the Gift they want.

The final way of getting Gifts is tosurvey territories around the War Map and complete Side Quests.Gifts will sometimes be given as rewards and are indicated by the red box icon. Not all Gifts are free, so players may be expected to trade Smithing Stones orpay in gold to receive them. The territories on the Warp Map in later chapters may ask for Gifts in exchange for Food, Materials, and more.
Liked and Disliked Gifts
As mentioned, each character has their own Likes and Dislikes. This makes it easier to narrow down the type of Gift to give to them. Acharacter that likes equipment and trainingwill prefer something like the Whetstone or the Training Weight. However, they’ll dislike most gifts that have to do with studying, such as the Arithmetic Textbook. If players are trying to grind up Support Points, then they can give away any gift they want, regardless of the unit’s preferences. Keep in mind thata Disliked Gift won’t increase Motivation.
The following is a list of every Gift inFire Emblem: WarriorsThree Hopes, with information on pricing and which characters like or dislike that item. Higher-priced Gifts (ex: Monarch Studies Book, every flower) will become available at the store once players have upgraded the Merchant’s Network.
