Throughout the Season 4 Marvel crossover,Fortnitehas treated fans to a variety of superhero-themed items and events. The inclusion of Marvel hero superpowers, like Storm’s Whirlwind Blast, has been one of many highlights.

Storm’s Whirlwind Blast has been aroundFortnitefor more than a few weeks now, but it seems that players shouldn’t forget the superpower just yet. One of this week’s challenges requires players to use the ability before ultimately damaging a player, so XP-hunters and completionists will need to keep an eye out for the rare power-up.

The mission in question is simple enough: use Storm’s Whirlwind Blast to knock back an enemy, and then deal at least 1,000 damage to them. It’s unclear how much attack-time a player has after using the whirlwind before needing to try again, but there doesn’t seem to be many complaints concerning this part of theSeason 4 Week 7 challenges- players should have ample time.

To find Storm’s Whirlwind Blast, explorers can hunt down a flying Stark Drone. They currently appear near Stark Quinjets in standard game modes, but even so, they rarely drop Mythic Weapons. Players using this method will need to hope they avoid accidentallyfinding Black Panther’s Kinetic Armorinstead. If the gamble seems a bit time-consuming, players can also simply head into one of the Marvel Limited Time Modes (LTMs). Marvel Knockout and Marvel Takeover are the two currently available LTMs, and either mode should help complete this quest.

Players start off Marvel LTMs with iconic superpowers equipped, so if lucky, a player may even head into battle with Storm’s abilities already in hand. That said, even if players don’t score Storm’s Whirlwind Blast right off the bat, they can easily find it on the map in these LTMs. Mythic Weapons (all of which are currently Marvel superpowers) will crash-land on the map like meteorites, and emit a beacon of light once they do. The location of thesepowerful Marvel abilitieswill also be marked on the map by unique icons for each power, which makes tracking down Storm’s wind powers all the more easy.

Once a player is equipped with Storm’s Whirlwind Blast, they can trigger it (like any other weapon) to activate a sort of whirlwind. This will draw in nearby enemies and then fling them away from the user. Of course, being in a Marvel LTM means players can’t double-up anduse this to beat Wolverine too, but nonetheless, players can complete the challenge by quickly following up the ability with damaging attacks.

This may take more than one use of the superpower, but players shouldn’t worry too much about this challenge’s difficulty; especially if taking advantage of the Marvel LTMs.
