Fortnitecertainly made a big impact with the Marvel theme for Chapter 2 Season 4. Now that the season has wrapped up and theimpressive Galactus eventhas taken place, Epic Games is gearing up to deliver more content during Season 5.FortniteSeason 5 is off to a fast start by introducing theGod of WarKratos as one of the first skins released.
Epic Games released a short trailer revealing Kratos, who is now available in theFortniteitem shop. The skin itself is modeled after Kratos in the most recentGod of Wartitle, which focuses on Kratos' son Atreus and Norse Mythology. Players can also grab the Kratos Bundle, which features the Guardian Shield Glider, Kratos' signature Leviathan Axe Pickaxe, Mimir’s Head Back Bling, and a signature Kratos emote.

PlayStation players can also unlock an exclusiveArmored Kratosskin by matchmaking on a PlayStation console after purchasing the original Kratos skin. Kratos has been one of the most famous PlayStation-exclusive characters since the originalGod of Wartitle on PlayStation 2 in 2005. Now, for the first time ever, Kratos will be playable on an Xbox console.
Although Xbox players cannot hack and slash Kratos' axe through gods and monsters like in the PlayStation titles, it is still impressive that Kratos is finally on an Xbox console. With such a famous console-exclusive character available inFortnitenow, the next step up would be Epic Games adding Xbox-exclusive character Master Chief to the game for a clash between two of the most powerful console-exclusive characters ever. Luckily for players,Halo’s Master Chiefhas been leaked so the Xbox character may be making his way toFortnitesoon.
Fortnitehas already featured many iconic characters as skins in the game includingStar Warscharacters like Rey and Kylo Ren, DC characters like Batman and Joker, and Marvel characters like Captain America and Deadpool.FortniteSeason 5 will bring together the most deadly hunters across the universe, and kicked off with the recruitment of Mando and Baby Yoda from the popular showThe Mandalorian.
It will be interesting to see what these hunters are being recruited for inFortniteSeason 5. The storyline will progress through the season, and hopefully will conclude with a huge event like the Galactus event or the Final Showdown from Chapter 1 Season 9. If the season end event features deadly hunters including Mando,Kratos, and possibly Master Chief, it could be the most intense events inFortniteyet.
