WhileForza Horizon 5has many events and stories in its main campaign to keep players busy, the weekly Festival Playlist contains additional challenges to complete for more rewards. Like the New Heights Treasure Hunt in Series 1’s Summer Wet Season.
The second step of this challenge asks players to locate the New Heights Treasure, but as it is a murky brown chest, it can be hard to spot while searching the desert terrain inForza Horizon 5. This guide will give the exact location of the treasure, and explain why it’s important to find it.

Where to Find New Heights Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5
After getting 2 Stars from the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign in the Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray, the next part of the New Heights Treasure Hunt will ask players to find the treasure. However, it only provides a red circle with the general location, making players look for the small chest. It’s easier to locate if playing with friends throughmultiplayer inForza Horizon 5, as each person can search an area quicker than if looking solo.
If players are looking to find the treasure as soon as possible and get back to taking part in events and smashingBonus Boards inForza Horizon 5, they should head to the immediate left of the treasure symbol inside the red circle.

The New Heights Treasure Chest is located here, just north of the white tents that are also easily spotted while looking at the map inForza Horizon 5. If players are still having trouble spotting the chest, they should stay at the white tents and activate Photo Mode (up on the d-pad while playing on consoles). It’s easier to spot while panning slowly across the area in Photo Mode. Once the chest is located, smash into it to complete the New Heights Treasure Hunt.
New Heights Treasure Hunt Rewards in Forza Horizon 5
Finding the New Heights Treasure Hunt in Series 1 Summer rewards 50,000 Credits and 3 Forzathon Points. The credits don’t amount to much, but the points are important to unlock rare cars attached to season rewards, like theDeLorean inForza Horizon 5which is available to claim until the season reset on Thursday November 18, if players earn 26 points.
With such a large player base,Forza Horizon 5is already a massive success for Xbox, but this means there have been some server and feature issues during its official launch week. Including the absence of the Forzathon shop. Once it is back in the game, players can use points earned during any Series and Season to buy exclusive rewards, including some of the best cars available in the game.
Forza Horizon 5is out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
