A newGenshin Impactleak reveals which characters will potentially receive a re-run in the upcoming version 3.6. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed one five-star character named Baizhu for the next update which will also introduce a new four-star unit, the popular Sumeru architect Kaveh.
The fact that only one five-star character has been officially announced so far means thatGenshin Impact3.6 will most likely feature three re-runs. This mechanic allows players to pull for older characters that they might have missed in the past. Even though the release of a playable unit is the main event in each update, a popular character receiving a re-run can create just as much, if not even more, hype.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit reveals which three characters will receive their re-runs in the next update. According to the post,Genshin Impactupdate 3.6will feature Ganyu, Nahida, Nilou, and the new character Baizhu as the five-star characters that will appear on the Limited Character Banner. The first banner cycle will include Baizhu and Ganyu while Nahida and Nilou are expected to appear in the second part of the update. Since her release back in update 1.2, Ganyu has been one of the strongest DPS characters in the game thanks to a stacked kit that allows her to dish out tons of damage with the help of her unique Charged Attack and her Elemental Burst.
Ganyu’s last banner appearance was alongside Zhongli during update 3.0 which means that the Geo Archon could also soon receive another re-run. According torecentGenshin Impactbetaleaks, Baizhu will be a new support whose playstyle revolves around providing shields that heal his teammates and deal damage to nearby enemies.
Players are hoping that HoYoverse delays Nahida’s re-run since they will have to choose between Baizhu, who is one of the most anticipated characters in the game, and the Dendro Archon who is widely considered the strongest support that uses the new element. Similar to her Archon colleagues,Nahida can fit almost any team compositionthat requires a strong elemental application.
Players who want to assemble the popular Bloom team composition should attempt to get all the featured five-star characters except Ganyu. Nilou is anicheGenshin Impactcharacterwho’s used almost exclusively in teams that trigger the Bloom elemental reactions. One of her Passive Talents can increase the damage and explosion radius of the Dendro cores which makes the star of the Zubayr Theater a must-have unit for this team.
