A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about a new character that should arrive in future updates. Developer HoYoverse has introduced an interesting pattern over the last couple of weeks of introducing two playable characters with each new update. The ongoing version 3.5 has already added the Pyro user Dehya during the first banner cycle and the Cryo user Mika arrived just recently alongside Shenhe and Kamisato Ayaka.
It seems likeGenshin Impacthas no plans to slow down when it comes to character additions as their official social media accounts already confirmed two Dendro characters, Kaveh and Baizhu, for the next update. Going by the game’s usual update schedule, players can expect version 3.6 to drop around mid-April.

A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about a new female character that could arrive in update 3.8. This character will apparently be related to the Inazuma region which means that the game’s official storyline could head back to the Electro nation. When it comes to her rarity, she is expected to be a newfour-starGenshin Impactcharacterand there is currently no information if the update will also feature a five-star character. She is expected to have an Electro Vision which makes sense lore-vise since she’s from Inazuma. Some fans have said that while they are excited to take part in a new Inazuma adventure, they were expecting the official storyline to return to Mondstadt or Liyue.
The description for a recently released artifact piece hasrevealed that Liyue has another portbesides the one that’s currently available. This means that the Geo region could soon receive an expansion, probably to the west considering that the new Fontaine region is supposed to be located there. This small expansion could serve as a bridge between the Geo nation and Fontain, similar to what the Chasm was to Sumeru.
There is not a lot of information about Fontaine other than that it’s the home ofthe Hydro Archon known as Focalors. Considering that the nation’s symbolic element is Hydro, players expect the new region to be filled with various rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. Rumors claim that the next major update could also add a new part of Mondstadt which would be the region’s first expansion since 2020.
RecentGenshin Impactleaks have also revealed more information aboutanother character named Wriothesley. He is apparently expected to be one of the first playable units to arrive in the new Fontaine region.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
