With the release of Yae Miko, there are no longer any visible characters left to release that appeared in the game’s archon quest. As such, now players are looking deep in the Genshin Impact’s lore to find out who is likely to release next, for characters like Kamisato Ayato and Shikanoin Heizou. That said, many fans are also excited at the prospect of rerun banners for their favorites, such as the Anemo character Kaedehara Kazuha. In order to update the five-star list in anticipation of reruns, as well as to add more information on Anemo’s uses, this article will be updated.
13Anemo Is The Traveler’s First Of Many Elements
The protagonist of Genshin Impact first comes across the element of Ameno, the powerful wind-based magic. However, the traveler can also take on the Geo element by interacting with a Geostatue of the sevenin Liyue later on in the game.

Switching characters out to best utilize the elemental impact of Anemo’s abilities is a smart strategy. This can be boosted with different items that increase a character’s attack or crit chance when switching out characters.
11It Can Activate A Swirl Of Elements
While Anemo may not have a status effect associated with it, Anemo users do have a unique ability: swirl. When an Anemo ability interacts with an attack of a different element, a devastating swirl of magic occurs. This causes area-of-effect damage to all enemies in the area, using the element that the Anemo energy mixed with.

This ability has a relatively low cooldown and can deal devastating damage to enemies, especially in groups. However, only one element at a time can be fused with Anemo, so players must be wary of the elemental typing of their enemies.
10Anemo Is The Crowd Control Element
Support inGenshin Impactcomes in a variety of different forms — stat boosts, enabling, some would even argue that healing is a form of support. Anemo characters tend to specialize in crowd control. This includes moving large groups of enemies to a single location, or otherwise immobilizing them.
Sucrose and Venti are two of the most iconic crowd control characters, as their elemental burst sucks opponents in while doing a lot of Swirl damage. On the other hand, Jean and the Anemo Traveler can use their elemental skills to push opponents a few at a time.

8Anemo Is Great For Exploration
Genshin Impactis a huge game, so havinglarge exploration potentialis an absolute must. Anemo could be called the “exploration element” —most Anemo characters have a feature that makes the task of exploring easier.
For example, Venti, Kazuha, and Xiao all have skills that make traveling by air easier. More recently, Sayu can travel long distances by using the spin of her elemental skill. Many also offer very useful passive abilities — Kazuha has increased sprinting stamina, and Venti can glide for longer.
7Anemo Absorbs Other Elements
When an Anemo ability comes into contact with an ability or attack of another element, it only sometimes triggers the swirl effect due to cooldowns. But every time anemo abilities collide with other elements,elemental absorption will be triggered.
This passive ability makes it so that the Anemo ability takes on the element it has collided with, dealing that element’s damage instead. For example, if an Anemo ability were to collide with a Pyro ability, the Anemo ability would deal Pyro damage instead.
6The Windy Elemental Resonance Ability
Anemo’s elemental resonance ability is Impetuous Winds. This passive ability is triggered when two Anemo characters are in the same party. The ability decreases a player’s stamina consumption by 15% and cooldown time on abilities by 5%.
In addition, Impetuous Winds increases movement speed by 10%. It’s a great ability for players who love fast gameplay and want to utilize multiple Anemo characters in their party at once.
5It’s A Five-Star Element
Anemo is an ace of an element inGenshin Impact. Almost every single playable Anemo character in the game has a rarity of five stars. The only ones who don’t are Sucrose and Sayu, but even they are four-star characters. This goes to show that Anemo users are a force to be reckoned with. 4The Anemo Hypostasis Enemy
TheAnemo Hypostasis is a formidable foewho lives in the Stormbearer Mountains near Mondstadt. This boss was once a human Anemo user who abandoned their form to become pure Anemo essence.
Defeating one of these bosses will give players drops that will help improve their Anemo characters. The key to taking them down is to constantly do damage while avoiding the Hypostasis' many attacks.
