Grand Theft Auto Onlinehas seen several special events and theNoPixel role-playing serverencouraging players to explore most of Los Santos, but one area that’s seen little use over the game’s lifespan has been the Vinewood Bowl. Rockstar Games' take on the Hollywood Bowl has found little use outside of being a PvP arena for some multiplayer modes, but has otherwise gone unused as an attraction point. ManyGTA Onlineplayers have noticed this, as well, and took to social media to share their thoughts about how the Vinewood Bowl could be reinvigorated.
The online discussion began on Reddit when user AromaticQuote posted a screenshot of theGTA OnlineVinewood Bowl asking why Rockstar doesn’t try to find ways to use the location more often. AromaticQuote’s stance was shared by many others on Reddit who began sharing their own disappointment over the space’s lack of use. However, the discussion quickly changed from general disappointment to suggestions about how Rockstar could make use of the space.

The most common suggestion was to follow inFortnite’sfootsteps and host in-game concerts in the Vinewood Bowl. This idea led to other commenters went on to list artists like Lil' Nas X,Fortniteconcert vetTravis Scott, and others who could attract players to the venue. However, some Reddit users were quick to point out Rockstar would need to find ways to stop players from interfering in any concerts involving big name talent. Ideas included making the area bubble where players could still shoot or drive but had no impact on the concert, or making it a closed area where vehicles and weapons were simply disabled.
Various other ideas were also pitched to try and make use of the Vinewood Bowl, including hosting player-focused events like car and fashion shows or more special missions making use of the zone. However, one idea that proved popular with several Reddit users was Rockstar hosting aGrand Theft Auto 6reveal eventat the Vinewood Bowl, akin toFortnite’sseasonal reveal events. Most users were positive about the idea and felt it would be a fitting way to revealGTA 6to the world.
Live and in-game events are becoming more common in online games as developers try to find ways to entice their players.Fortnitehas, arguably, mastered this with the laundry list of live events held in the game from concerts to evenfilm screenings. However, Rockstar’s advantage is it has a space in theGTA Onlinetailor-made to host special events. While there are potential issues Rockstar would need address, it would only prove beneficial for the game in its seventh year online.
