Halo Infinite’s free multiplayer experience has delivered both classic and new content to fans during its first season. With many special events, a collection of stunning maps, but less content than fans would have hoped for, the newest title in theHalofranchise seems to have had a somewhat well-received launch despite its faults. Fans are now hungry for the nextHalo Infiniteseason, titled “Lone Wolves,” which seems to put more emphasis on some of the game’s tactical and melee combat. The season will also bring new gear toHaloplayers, including a few helmets for existingInfinitearmor.

There are two helmets that should be making an appearance in “Lone Wolves.” Both of the helmets are for the Mark VII armor, which can be unlocked quickly by leveling up any ofHalo Infinite’s multiplayer game modes. These helmets will be joining the multiple helmets already available for the Mark VII armor, and will presumably be added alongside a family of other gear.

Twitter user DeltaArchive recently posted two photos of the helmets that will likely be coming toHalo Infinite. They are the EOD and the Air Assault helmets, and they look dramatically different from one another. The EOD helmet looks more at home with some ofInfinite’s bulkier armor, while the Air Assault helmet is evocative of the gear fromHalo Reach. Indeed, these two helmets will be only a fraction of the items available inHalo InfiniteSeason 2.

All the new content forHalo Infinitelooks ambitious, from plenty of unique armor sets to never-before-seen maps and modes. Hopefully, these additions to the title will revive theHalo Infiniteplayer count, which continues to dwindle on Steam. Players and dedicated fans have been frustrated with the lack of new content and fixes to some of the title’s core features, though it seems that 343 Industries has done its best to listen to concerns.

While the future ofHalo Infiniteremains to be seen, the upcoming update looks to be a daring one. Indeed, the EOD and Air Assault helmets are only part of the fascinating content that will be added toHaloand are relatively simplistic when compared with 343’s supposed changes to existing issues and new unlockable items. Hopefully, the additionalHalo Infinitemultiplayer mapsand game modes will elevate the game to a more approachable platform, and will make it everything that players had wished it was upon its original release.

Halo Infiniteis available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
