AmidHalo Infinite’s Season 3: Echoes Within launch, a cutscene of one of the game’s upcoming events appears to have been leaked online. Launched on March 7, the third season is the latest big update to hitHalo Infinite.Now, as 343 Industries look to build excitement and draw fans into the game, the latest content leak may hinder those plans.

Of course, this isn’t the first timeHalo Infinitehas gone through a troubling period. Since its launch in November 2021, the game has undergone a rocky journey, to say the least. Most recently, its development efforts were impacted following Microsoft’s layoffs, which included some of 343 staff. However, the renowned IP has seemingly found renewed interest among fans, particularly asHalo Infinite’s Forge beta managed to cross a million creations.

Warning! Potential spoilers ahead343’s one million milestone announcement comes merely a week prior to its much-hyped Season 3 launch. But even as the studio attempts to generate buzz for the new season, some fans have taken things a few steps further. A YouTube channel going by the name “Iso Leaks” has leaked a cutscene for one of the two upcoming narrative events, “Site Unseen”. The near-three-minute clip primarily features SPARTAN-IV supersoldier Hieu Dinh and Iratus, while seemingly confirming thepreviously leaked Infected inHalo Infinite. Additionally, the channel claims that the Site Unseen narrative event will take place between May 2 to 16, although 343 is yet to officially give an update.

Apart from the content surrounding the Site Unseen event,Halo Infinite’s Season 3 brings a number of notable changesand additions to the IP. The new season saw 343 bring three maps, a new weapon, and the Shroud Screen toHalo Infinite. Season 3 also added a Community Collection Playlist, where players can play community-created maps and modes. As of now, gamers can access the first of the two narrative events in the new season, “Mindfall,” which is scheduled to run up to March 21.

While it’s yet to be seen how the future of theHalofranchise will pan out beyond Echoes Within, many fans will hopeSeason 3 may mark a turning point forHalo Infinite. One of the biggest setbacks for Xbox’s flagship IP has been the lack ofHalo Infinitecontent over a prolonged period. Certainly, the recent round of Microsoft layoffs hasn’t helped ease this worry.
