Recently, 343 Industries announced it is releasing the next public flight forHaloInsiders to test outHalo: The Master Chief Collection. This information comes from the latest development update, which revealed it will be adding various new features for Insiders to test out. Some of the new features include FOV slider support on all Xbox One consoles, and the FOV slider will be unlocked for the Xbox Series X/S. The public flight will also be testing mouse-and-keyboard support for consoles.

Console players all around might be able to use mouse-and-keyboard options while playing theHalo: The Master Chief Collectionsometime soon based on this. The public flight will also include double keybindings, advance audio options, and view model customization options. On top of that there will be anewHalo 3mapfrom the canceledHalo Online, and the Custom Game Browser feature that adds a new way for players to engage with others inHalo: The Master Chief Collection.
The developer said that if all these changes go smoothly,HaloInsiders can expect the next public flight to be released Thursday, February 18. The developer recommended that members update theirHaloInsider profile before the next public flight arrives. That said, 343 Industries adds that some of the features in the next public flight may be subject to change before it’s officially released, so Insiders might need to keep an eye on what does and doesn’t make it in.
With all of the new features being added toHalo: The Master Chief Collection, players could have more options when playing any of its games. The developer is certainly trying to keep players engaged withHalocontent by heightening their gameplay experience inHalo: TheMaster Chief Collection. One of 343 Industries' goals has been to maintain player engagement with theHalocommunity, and the frequent public flights could help with that.
