A strangeHogwarts Legacybug discovered by a gamer online turns the player character invisible. While players can make themselves invisible inHogwarts Legacy, that doesn’t appear to be what this player has done here.

With the game now over a month post-release, fans ofHogwarts Legacyhave been enjoying the weird bugs the game has to offer. Some are silly, but some are actually quite useful, with oneHogwarts Legacybug allowing gamers to glitch into each of the house common roomsin the game, without having to actually replay the game four times in each house. In gaming terms, one month in is still pretty much brand new, so there will undoubtedly be plenty of glitches that players will stumble across in the future.

The odd bug was discovered by Redditor JaxonStormBorn, who posted a video of their invisible character flying around on Highwing. In the clip, it actually looks like the gamer is playing as the Hippogriff. Users in the thread were curious about how far the glitch could be pushed, with some asking if the player could enter Hogwarts on Highwing. Unfortunately, JaxonStormBorn clarified that they never tried to see if it would work while invisible. It’s not the first time that a glitch in the game makes it appear that the player is playing as a different species, with anotherHogwarts Legacybug allowing gamers to play as a frog.

Compared to many major releases in recent years,Hogwarts Legacywas in a generally good state upon release. There wasn’t much in the way of game-breaking bugs, with most of the glitches being harmless and often just funny. Oneglitch inHogwarts Legacyeven caused Sebastian Sallow to Riverdance, which is certainly an odd sight, but it doesn’t harm the game in any meaningful way.

As funny as these types of glitches are, Avalanche Software will presumably look to iron out as many glitches as possible in the coming months.Hogwarts Legacyhas already received some updates, fixing a number of small issues with the title. While many gamers out there will be clamoring for Avalanche Software to begin work on DLC for the game, the developer could decide to wait until it has fixed more of these types of bugs.

Hogwarts Legacyis available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, with PS4 and Xbox One versions launching May 5 and a Switch port releasing July 25.
