Warner Bros. Has Plans for Even More Hogwarts Legacy Adventures

AfterHogwarts Legacylaunchedin February 2023, fans were instantly clamoring for some type of new content. However, Avalanche did not add anything noteworthy via post-launch updates, there was no roadmap, and it had also said that there were no plans for DLC. Luckily, as 2024 begins, it seems like the studio is actually ready to deliver.

With a brief tweet, Avalanche Software revealed thatHogwarts Legacywill be getting new updates and featuresthroughout the year. The details of those updates remain a mystery, but the studio promises that players will know more soon. While there is a chance that these updates will simply add cosmetics or fix bugs, the studio may also be planning something even bigger. And if it is, thenHogwarts Legacycould have a fantastic year ahead of it.

There is Limitless Potential for New Hogwarts Legacy Content

Hogwarts Legacygave players Hogwartsand its surroundings in all of its glory. Along with that, Avalanche packed the world with things to discover, classes to attend, and all sorts of magical shenanigans for players to engage with. All of that made for a fantastic experience for fans, which many will not soon forget. Additionally, it also built some strong foundations for future Wizarding World adventures to build upon with even more exciting content.

There is so much more Avalanche could do withHogwarts Legacyif it really wanted to. For starters, it should pack the world with even more classes to attend. Even if those classes do not really reward the players with much, part ofthe Wizarding World fantasyis the school aspect, whichHogwarts Legacyonly went so far with. Through updates, players should be able to attend classes whenever they want just because they can.

Along with classes, Avalanche should also introduce new spells to the game.Hogwarts Legacyalready had 27 spellsto play with, but theHarry Potterseries had around 80 different spells mentioned. That means that Avalanche did not even put half of the available spells into the game, which needs to be rectified. Even though many of the spells may be useless, players should still be given the option so that they can truly feel like they are a part of the world.

Hogwarts Legacycould also be expanded with more beasts, cosmetics, open-world areas, and maybe even some story-based content. Avalanche may have said it had no plans for DLC, but after the game’s success, it would make a lot of sense if the studio changed its mind.
