Honkai: Star Railplayers are now waiting for Jingliu,a new Ice character that will be released alongside Topazin version 1.4. A couple of days ago, HoYoverse revealed Jingliu’s talent, idle, and ultimate animation to give an insight into her ability kit. The character’s overall design received many plaudits from players on Reddit, with some claiming that she looks like a mix betweenHonkai Impact 3rd’s Fu Hua and Senti. Judging by the usual banner cycle, Jingliu will be available to claim from October 11 to November 1. Then, she will be replaced with new characters like Topaz, Luka, Sushang, and Guinaifen.
Honkai: Star Railhas finally given all the details about Jingliu, confirming that she is a five-star Ice unit that follows the Destruction Path. She has a set of traces that provide different bonuses while in the Transmigration state. The character’s technique, called Shine of Truth, creates a dimension that inflicts Freeze on multiple enemies. If Jingliu enters combat with enemies in this dimension, she will immediately regenerate energy and obtain stacks. Her enhanced skill deals Ice damage to a single enemy and consumes stacks instead of skill points.
Honkai: Star Rail’s Jingliu has a unique talent, which allows her to enter the Spectral Transmigration state by consuming stacks. During the duration of this state, her CRIT rate is increased, and the Transcended Flash skill is enhanced to Moon on Glacial River. In addition, Jingliu’s ATK increases proportionately based on the total HP consumed from all allies. She launches herself into the air, deals Ice damage to enemies, and gains a number of stacks with her ultimate.
Players will collect Immortal Scionette and Gelid Chitin to ascend Jingliu and improve her combat skills. These ascension materials can either be obtained by defeating characters on Assignments or completing theShape of Icicle: Stagnant Shadow. As for Jingliu’s traces, they increase her effect RES and ultimate damage while in the Specral Transmigration state.
