The action-adventure seriesRed Dead Redemptionby Rockstar Games is arguably one of the most popular video game series in the market today. The first title charmed the hearts of its players back in 2010, creating a loyal following and camaraderie withRed Dead Redemptionmain protagonist John Marston. Now, John Marston’s voice actor Rob Wiethoff has stated that he would not mind coming back to reprise his iconic role for Rockstar Games again, should anotherRed Dead Redemptiontitle be in the works.

Though Wiethoff was able to lend his voice as John Marston once more inRed Dead Redemption 2, he was not the main playable character in the second title. Instead, fans were made witnesses to the prequel of events that laid the background to the firstRed Dead Redemptiongame through the eyes of anothergang member Arthur Morgan. Though he played an important supporting role inRDR2, many old-time fans are likely interested in seeing more from John Marston, and his voice actor, again.

In a recent interview on YouTube hosted by user Dan Allen Gaming, Wiethoff was asked about thepossibility ofRed Dead Redemption 3, and whether or not the voice actor would come back to the next title. Wiethoff was quick to brush off any confirmation about a third title, or if Rockstar Games was already working on it, but he did reiterate his willingness to come back to the series. And he would do so “in a second.”

Wiethoff was also asked aboutRDR’s zombie-inspired DLCUndead Nightmare, but the actor did not confirm anything about Rockstar Games updating the 10-year old content, even if he agreed that a lot of players had fun with it. Even the topic of working in rumoredGrand Theft Auto 6was touched upon in the interview, with Wiethoff stating that he would still agree to work with Rockstar Games. Even though it would not be related toRed Dead Redemption, he says that he loves the work, and the people behind the video games.

Early in the interview, Wiethoff had nothing but high praises for the team behind theRed Dead Redemptionseries. He noted that it seemed unfair that the voice actors were the ones going on roadshows and conventions when it was the team behind the scenes who were responsible for such amazing work. With bothRDR1andRDR2winning awards in their respective launch years, it seems that not only the fans, but also the actors involved in the series have nothing but love forRed Dead Redemption.
