L.A. Noireisone of the best detective games ever made. The story behind the game’s development might’ve been a troubled one, but there’s no denying the fact that the title still wowed fans upon launch. The realistic facial captures and engaging investigative gameplay made for a great time indeed.

One thing that fans ofL.A. Noirewould’ve definitely noticed is the sheer number of actors appearing in the game who’ve featured in the showMad Menas well. This riveting drama focused on the life of Don Draper and his colleagues in an advertising agency during the 60s and 70s. It’s a great show, and the following actors have the distinguished honor of appearing in both the game and the series!

Pete Campbell is a character everyone loves to hate inMad Men. He’s a slimy weasel who always looks out for himself and even tries to sell out Don at one point.

Vincent Kartheiser

During one of the arson cases inL.A. Noire, players interact with a suspect by the name of Walter Clemens, portrayed by the same actor who played Pete inMad Men.While he appears suspicious, it’s revealed that his history of arson had no bearing on the current case and he was let go.

The eccentric celebrity that is Jimmy Barret is another enigma fromMad Men. He’s not exactly the most likable character around, which is why most people didn’t really feel sorry for him when Don slept with his wife.

Patrick Fischler

InL.A. Noire, Patrick Fischler reappears asreal-life gangster Mickey Cohen. His on-screen presence is captivating and makes for one of the more memorable parts of the game.

It’s surprising just how many lecherous and unlikable men are present inMad Men. Harry Crane is one such individual who is absolutely despicable, with Rich Sommer’s impressive performance making this character even more despicable.

InL.A. Noire, Sommer plays the role of John Cunningham. He’s a part of the travel agency that players visit for a case at one point during the events of the game.

Michael Gladis

Paul Kinsley is a character who gets the short end of the stick inMad Men. After being left behind by Don, he tried his hand out at several other agencies before becoming a member of the Hare Krishna sect.

Michael Gladis does a great job of playing Kinsley’s role, and he shines once again as Dudley Lynch inL.A. Noire. His role as a bartender ends up taking a turn for the worse when he kills a man in an act of self-defense and is subsequentlyhauled off into the police station by Cole Phelps.

Joseph Culp

Don’s previous life as Dick Whitman was a life full of struggles. This was mainly due to his alcoholic father Archie Whitman, who met an unfortunate end in front of his son after getting kicked in the head by a horse.

Joseph Culp shines in this role and does a great job of portraying Walter Robbins inL.A. Noireas well. He’s an instrumental person of interest during the Black Dahlia murders and gives details on one of the victims, Evelyn Summers.

Andy Umberger

Betty’s psychiatrist plays a minor but notable role in the events ofMad Men. Andy Umberger is a great actor who plays the role of Arnold Wayne to a T.

This actor also plays a major role inL.A. Noireas the coroner with who Phelps interacts regularly over the course of the game. He might not have the most important role around, but he still appears frequently enough regardless.

Ryan Cutrona

Betty Draper’s father wasn’t exactly the greatest man around, but watching his mind slowly deteriorate is still painful regardless. Ryan Cutrona does a brilliant job of portraying a man whose aging mind ends up breaking down completely.

He players the role of William Worrell, the Chief of Police inL.A. Noire. Players won’t really remember this character fondly, given that he was the person who ended up demoting Phelps in the game!

Julie McNiven

Julie McNiven doesn’t have the most important role inMad Men. She plays the role of Pete’s secretary Hildy, who gets mistreated all the time by her unlikable superior.

She plays the role of Ruth Douglas inL.A. Noireas well. Unlike most of the characters on this list, Julie’s roles in both the game and the show are pretty minor.

Peggy Olson is one of the best characters inMad Men. However, just like most characters in the show, her family isn’t particularly supportive, with her crass sister being a great example of the same.

Audrey Wasilewski

Audrey Wasilewski excels in the role of Anita Olson Respola, and she does the same as Jennifer Horgan inL.A. Noireas well. She appears as the neighbor of a murder victim in the case “The Red Lipstick Murder”.

Of course, it would be impossible to talk about actors in bothL.A. NoireandMad Menwithout mentioning Aaron Staton. His role as Ken Cosgrove is pretty engaging, but it’s his presence as the lead ofL.A. Noirethat makes him such a captivating figure.

Aaron Staton

Staton’s acting breathes new life into both roles, with his performance as Cole Phelps being absolutely incredible. Ever after finishingL.A. Noire, the story of its protagonist will live long in the hearts of fans.
