Life Is Strange: Before The Stormdrops players into a thrilling and nostalgic opening scene upon starting the game. Players step into the shoes of the beloved blue-haired rebelfrom the original game,Chloe Price, the deuteragonist of the originalLife Is Strange.Players are tasked with helping Chloe get into the old mill where her favorite punk band, Firewalk, is playing an underground gig.
The task of getting into this concert is relatively straightforward, as it’s in thegame’s short opening scenefor players to get accustomed to the backtalk challenges. These mini-challenges have players taking components of their opponent’s dialogue and firing back at them with on-par insults and comebacks in order to achieve anoutcome that favors Chloe. The first backtalk challenge has Chloe fighting with the bouncer stationed outside the old mill, the only thing standing between her and seeing Firewalk.
Step One: Talk To The Bouncer
First, go up to the heavily tattooed bouncer stationed in front of the entrance to the old mill and speak to him. This will trigger Chloe to take out her fake ID and flash it to the bouncer, thinking that it will be enough to get her into the concert.

Unfortunately, the bouncer quickly sniffs out that the ID is fake and throws it back at Chloe, denying her entry. If players know Chloe Price at all, they know that she isn’t going to take no for an answer — so, players must now find another way past the bouncer and into the concert.
Step Two: Look At The Floral-Print Motorcycle
There’s a mechanic inLife Is Strange: Before The Stormthat allows characters to unlock certain lines of dialogue by discovering different objects and looking for clues in the surrounding area. In the opening sequence, one of these un-lockable lines of text can be triggered by having Chloelook at the motorcycle closest to the bouncer.

The motorcycle in question should have a floral pattern on it,which Chloe sarcastically remarks at.After looking at this floral-printed motorcycle, a text box stating “new dialogue unlocked” should be displayed in the top left corner of the screen.
Step Three: Speak To The Bouncer Again
The only way to get into the concert is, weirdly enough, by talking to the bouncer again. There will be three dialogue options available when players talk to the bouncer again, but the only one that will get Chloe into the concert is"Let Me Inside, Now."

Picking this dialogue option will start a backtalk challenge. The first two dialogue options will be rather easy to pick from, since the game gives players a brief tutorial on how to complete the backtalk challenges. The exchange will go back and forth, and the player should respond to each remark as follows:
After that last line of dialogue, the bouncer will back down and let Chloe into the concert to see Firewalk.
