2023 has been a phenomenal year for gaming so far. Huge titles likeDead Space Remake,Resident Evil 4 Remake,Hogwarts Legacy,Diablo 4,Street Fighter 6, andStar Wars Jedi: Survivorall lived up to their lofty expectations and exceeded them in many ways. That’s not even mentioningThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which may have won some Game Awards trophies long before nominations are even announced. But things are only just getting started, and after a packed September,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2is going to be swinging into the zeitgeist.

First announced back inPlayStation’s September 2021 Showcase,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2is the long-awaited sequel to Insomniac’s 2018 original, and the pseudo-sequel/spinoffMiles Morales, once again following both Spider-Men as they battle a series of new threats cropping up across New York City. After a thrilling gameplay deep-dive a few months ago, fan hype is reaching an all-time high forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, though details are still quite scarce. They’re so scarce, in fact, that only a handful of cast members have been confirmed so far.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Complete Cast List So Far

Currently, just eight names are attached to theMarvel’s Spider-Man 2list. While there will of course be plenty more actors joining the cast ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2– with the first game having a whopping total of 91 voice actors on the official IMDb list – there are more than enough names to dive into. Of course, Yuri Lowenthal is returning once again to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. One of thebiggest highlights ofMarvel’s Spider-Manwas Yuri Lowenthal’s performance, able to seamlessly juggle Spidey’s wise-cracking nature with Peter’s more vulnerable side. With the addition of the Symbiote suit, there’s plenty of opportunity for Yuri Lowenthal to show his range again.

Co-starring right alongside Yuri is Nadji Jeter, reprising his role asMiles Morales/Spider-Man. Nominated for a BAFTA award for his performance inSpider-Man: Miles Morales,Nadji Jeter is another perfect casting on Insomniac’s part, with the actor being able to capture the innocence and strength of a young Spider-Man-in-training expertly. With Nadji also playing Miles Morales in the Disney animatedSpider-Manshow, the actor’s had plenty of experience with the character, and he’s sure to be one of the biggest highlights ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2. Griffin Puatu is also returning as Miles' man-in-the-chair Ganke.

Moving on to the villains,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2currently has two main antagonists confirmed. The first of these is Kraven the Hunter, who will be played by Jim Pirri. A prolific voice actor, Jim Pirri has appeared across the gaming industry for decades, lending his voice to franchises likeCall of Duty,Diablo,God of War,World of Warcraft, and many more. But perhaps themost important antagonist inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2is Venom, being voiced by Tony Todd. Todd has appeared across film, TV, and gaming, but is probably best known for his role as Candyman in the 1992 movie of the same name. An actor that’s used to playing spine-chilling villains, Tony Todd will be a perfect fit for Venom’s menacing voice.

There are two names on the currentMarvel’s Spider-Man 2cast list that are a bit of a mystery right now. Both Henry and Vijay, played by Andrew Lee and Krishna Kumar respectively, are two characters that fans have heard absolutely nothing about just yet. It’s also currently unconfirmed if actors like Laura Bailey, Mark Rolston, or Darin de Paul will be back to reprise their roles of MJ, Norman Osborn, and J. Jonah Jameson respectively, but it seems likely.
